Quick Question!

Is the lifting mechanism on the Recaros seats only supposed to raise and lower the front of the seat or should it lift the whole seat.

Gotta give it more than an hour man. Most people are at work right now. Wish I could help answer your question, but sadly I do not have the Recaros.

I had my wife drive down to the local dealership to play with a '13 Boss seat and appartently the whole seat should rise when the mechanism is used and not just the front which means my seat is broken.

Sorry for the impatience, I just needed an answer.

I also thought I should answer my own question just incase anybody else needed to reference this thread.

Yes, the front lever on the side "jacks up" the seat height on the Recaro's. Bar in front for sliding forward or back and you can hold up the back lever on the side to adjust the seat back position. You do have to pump it upward for up and downward for down, not just hold it one way or the other.

No worries; I completely understand. For what they charge for the Recaro option, I'd want to make sure mine worked properly too haha.

Yes, I am aware of which levers do what. My Recaro just pivots on the back instead of raising the seat as a whole unit. I guess when I was rear ended it broke the mechanism or knocked the seat off the track.
