Standing out

Hey, Im Luke and Im new to the site. I just got my black 2011 GT with the brembo brake package in August and I want to make it stand out a little bit. There are a few other mustangs running around similar to it and I want mine to be different. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Thanks for welcoming me to the site. I just installed a Doug Thorley muffler delete and I'm looking at getting a Bama x4 and a CAI soon. I was also looking at the Roush hockey stick stripes like whats on a 427r car. Does anyone have any pics of those on a regular GT? Thanks!

Yep. Make it fast and be inconspicuous. Nothing is better than putting a bus length on some ******bag who is 100% sure he has it in the bag.

I agree with performance being a great way to stand out. With exhaust being a large part of getting attention. ( Maybe not always good but worth it)

Lower it, tint the windows, good set of wheels/tires, maybe a little cleanup on the nose of the car like the Saleen grille and a CDC lip or a GT/CS lip and that's it. Put the rest of the $$$ into mods to make it faster. I dunno about everyone else here but I'd rather have a really clean stockish looking GT that runs 11s than some "flashy" car that runs stock 1/4 times.

Don't try to be different by doing all sorts of crazy exterior nonsense. Put every penny into performance. Backed by a good set of wheels, some decent lowering springs and a good sounding exhaust and you'll be good to go. And do your homework before you throw money into things that don't give good results. Like a cai...
