Nitrous install question

I started doing the install yesterday. Everything seems fine other than a few issues. I have a few questions for anyone who has experience or has done the install before.

Is it normal for nos solenoid to get very hot with car off within 15 seconds I turn on the switch?

I don't need to use the included TPS Autolearn switch If I have the with switch (listed below)?

Could it be that this NOS window switch is not compatible with Nitrous Express coyote kit?

1.No its not normal for it to get hot, there is something going on there. It should not just randomly get hot. It will be hot from the underhood Temps though.

2. It's a full throttle switch that comes with the kit.

3. The "NOS" window switch, will work perfectly fine with your NX kit. Exact same one I run.

Do I have to install the full throttle switch include in the NX kit? I didn't because I think the nos window switch replaces it as it is not show on the window switch diagram. Am I right or wrong?

Thank you for your help.

You are good, yes the window switch will control full throttle also.

Nitrous Express told me it is suppose to get hot because it pulls a lot of amps. Also that it is not meant to be on for more than 20 seconds at a time.

Does this mean I cannot have the Master arming switch on for more than 20 seconds?

Problem is I had to turn off Master arming switch (and battery just in case) when I was programming the WOT/RPM control because it started smelling like something was getting fried/too hot. Then I checked the install and only hot part was the nos solenoid.

You should not smell anything. If it's getting that hot something is wired up wrong.

I ran around with my sytem armed all the time. If the car was on the sytem was on.

I've checked the electrical diagram about 6 times, everything seems fine.

Only thing that I believe might be wrong is the TAN CABLE coming from the wot/rpm switch. Could you see or remember where did you connected that one. I might have connected it wrong, not sure.

This is what the installation guide says:
Connect the tan wire of the WOT/Window Switch to the ignition coil signal wire or tach output wire using the T-tap provided.

Check your grounds, are both solenoids grounded to the same place?

I had my tuner hook up my window switch. I didn't do that one myself.
