How did this go from weight reduction to comparing muscle?

Because all we were doing was fighting anyway. At
Least maybe we won't fight anymore and talk about something else since the op had his question answered? Eh

Here we go again people talking smack. Let's just compare tire tread depth then. How's that? Or let's compare our gas levels. That sounds fun!! Who gives a **** what we compare. Guys always compare everything you should know that.

Speaking of fitness & weight reduction.... Go on a diet & there's another 10-20 lbs.

I didn't delve in to the showing off of assets as I have nothing to prove here. I am very well off especially for my age that's all I have to say.

I can't go heavy on bench anymore.
I weigh 212-215 right now. Plan on being at 235-240 by the end of January.

Weight reduction

Hahaha. I can only do it once. Well. I've done it once. The most I've got since then is 405. I guess I had a good day. I didn't pause press it either. Dropped it fast and straight up. I had a video of 385 before I'm trying to find it. I mean. I don't think I'm that small. I haven't had my dad measure me since the beginning of nov but I look about the same

You got me all wrong. You're not a small looking guy. I just know what it takes to bench 415 and the guys I worked out with that were in that area on bench(even the 415lb one hitter quitters) are huge. Massive chest, massive arms. That's a ***** load of weight... And for the record I am in no way implying that I can bench that. Truth be told I just had my second spine surgery this last Wednesday and had three vertebrae fused together. At 26...

Dang dude that sucks to hear that about your back bro. I have bad form when I do that much weight which sucks. I rarely go that heavy I have a big chest and average shoulders which plays a big
Role in bench press. My arms are ok size. But I know what u mean I wouldn't believe it either unless I saw it but I'm not gonna
Lie about stuff even though it's online. U can ask anyone that knows or lifts w me. One time, I tried 415 and had my fiancé spotting me and she let me struggle too long and she couldn't get the weight off my haha cause I was spent. Had some guy hurdling stuff to come help. It's funny now but then it wasn't.

Weight reduction

I feel like a weakling compared to you guys lol. I weigh 150, no idea what I can lift either, been years. Just no time. Was pretty athletic in high school when I did wrestling though.

I do want to get back into lifting though. The gym at my school is a major disappointment, may be one of the reasons. They've been working on a much bigger and nicer sports center on campus that should be done next semester. Hoping to get back into it.

I should workout more than I do. I go 3-5 times a week when I feel good cause work kills me man. When I don't feel good and my back is sore I usually go twice.

Ok... You can't lose fat and gain muscle at the same time. Your body is either in a anabolic state or catabolic state. It can't be in both. Anabolic is growing, and catabolic is losing. This is why people like me get huge for 6 months and then diet for 12-16 weeks and try to minimize muscle loss while doing it. I have a degree in nutrition & dietetics and another degree in exercise physiology so you can't fool me. If you gained that much muscle to bench 100 pounds more, you wouldn't weight less, because muscle weighs a lot more than fat yet it's 22% smaller than fat. I've never...ever seen that kind of strength increase in 5 months even from people on growth/testosterone.

You look like your about 18-20% body fat (I know this because there is no separation between your shoulders and biceps). So at 18% your lean body mass would be about 195. My lean body mass is 205. Which means I have 10 more pounds of muscle than you and I can't lift 415. That's strange.

That statement in the fitness world would be like someone here saying their no tune cai gave them 50hp. Just goes to show we're not experts in everything. We all need a little help in different areas.

Also factor in he may have stick legs. So while you may have a few more lbs of muscle the distribution may be more symmetrical... (top & bottom). Where all of his muscle is in his upperbody: chest, shoulders & arms.

And I'm not knocking him as I only work out my upper body too! I don't have those pretty tanned shaved legs like you.

I can bench a lot, but I don't do any real leg workouts. (just 3 sets of thrusters on my "pushing day")

I'm the opposite actually. I don't bench a whole lot, less than other people my weight and size. But my legs are pretty strong for my size.

Well that's too bad. Working out your legs is literally like taking steroids. It helps your body produce more testosterone. And essentially will make your entire body grow. People just don't want to work them because it's tough to do it right.

Start doing legs, and in 2 months you will be suprised on how your body reacts to it.
