New Owner

New owner joining the community. Bought my 2012 C/S GT a month ago. Has 12k miles and bone stock. I'm wanting to either do the Roush axle back or the Cervini side exhaust kit as my first mod, but haven't decided which is the best way to go yet. Any opinions would be appreciated.

Are you considering aftermarket wheels?

I had thought about a black Bullitt style wheel, but don't want to drop down in size so probably not.

Nice looking ride! I have the Roush and love it. Such a sweet note.

Thanks man! I have probably listened to hundreds of videos of all different axle backs and personally the Roush is definitely the best sounding to me. I like the Borla Atak also, but not enough to justify the price difference.

Damn. I want those wheels. They're by far my favorite for the mustangs. As far as exhaust goes don't waste your money on Borla. ROUSH sounds better and it's half the price. Are there any car shows or mustang meets near you? That's the best place for anyone to go to get any sort of real actual exhaust comparison. What are your plans on the exhaust? Are you planning on just the axlebacks or are you thinking of doing more to it down the road? Cus that'll make a huge difference in what axlebacks you should get.

Lol that's the one thing other then the grabber blue that caught my eye when I saw it on the lot were the wheels. I don't plan on doing much to the car for a while other then exhaust, MGW shifter and some appearance parts. I don't want to sacrifice my warranty for any performance parts that I won't use anyways. Car has more than enough power for the street and I baby it too much to track/drag it. Unfortunately I only have videos to base my decision on.

I was in the same boat looking at videos to decide. Video will in no way prepare you for what will come out of that car when you put those Roush cans on. It was 40 degrees this morning and I still had the windows down going to work. I rarely listen to the radio I'd rather listen to my exhaust. Tunnels take on new meaning, underground parking garages echo with the coyote roar. Even if you decided down the line to go full exhaust you can easily sell the Roush.

I do the same thing even with the stock exhaust. I have the premium stereo package and I haven't even used in once while driving. Can't wait until it really screams! Sucks cause we just got a bunch of snow here in Colorado so now she sits in the garage with battery tender wires strung out the front end lol. Oh well, it will keep the miles low I guess.

Is there anyone that has the Cervini side exhaust kit that can post some pics and give me some pros and cons? It seems like a lot of money for what you get and then you have to find a reputable shop to paint match.
