Help on deciding wheels!!

I am looking into getting new wheels and tires on my 13 sterling grey GT which already has the factory upgraded 19' brembo package wheels but they aren't cutting it for me anymore. Wanted to find something with some nice stance and concave in the back. I was looking and AM has an alright selection and their wheel and tire package pricing really is ideal, but wanted to see if there was anything else out there i could find. Thanks

Personally I think the SVE drifts look pretty nice.
http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/...at-Black-05-14

I think a nice chrome wheel would also look good and stand out on the sterling grey. Seen chrome boss 302's on a sterling grey 11 and it looked very nice.

My car came with the same wheels. Just killed me that you upgrade to big brakes and they throw on a wheel that weighs damn near 30 pounds. I wanted to shave weight and went with Forgestar f5 19x10 on all four and saved 5 pounds a wheel. Bought them at AM and glad I did had a little issue and they really stepped up. I've always thought mesh style wheels are a pain to clean especially the barrels behind the spokes. Classic five star are a breeze to clean. Black or silver would look great on your car.

I've been looking for some different wheels also, and want to go with 11's in the rear and at least 9's in the front. I really like the HRE FF01's, but they only come in 10.5" in the rear.

Help on deciding wheels!!

I like the Forgestars a lot but a wheel and tire package from AM is around 3000$ and my price range is around 2000$. The AMRs are a good looking wheel and that's my fall back although I'm sure there's something that really stands out at a 2000$ price range. I found the Rovos 20' staggered Durbans look really nice and I found a wheel and tire pack on CJ's for 2k but im pretty sure they are sold out

Nope you will pay more and likely wait for there production order. You can custom order offsets from other sellers. AM has what you need in stock and cheaper. I had a budget too and really the extra coin over the life of ownership isn't much. My problem is if I settle I will always end up kicking myself. Never once have I walked up to my car and said yeah should have saved the coin and went for x brand.

Here are 2 different options first is the SVT wheels and second is the ford racing GT500 base wheels. Both sets are 19X9.5 square setup running Goodyear eagle F1's 255/40 in front and 285/35 in the rear.

Just to put it out there for people. I wish I would have considered widening the stock Brembos wheels before I purchased the CS40s.

From the side you would look like a stocker but you would be running 19x11 or 11.5 with 305-325 tires.

It'll be a lot cheaper than new rim and tire set.

I've got an extra set of Brembo Wheels but I'm not sure that I'd trust welding a couple of inches to the wheel, especially a cast aluminum wheel, and not sure who would do a good job or what the cost would be.
I do agree that they would look really nice with 10" in front and 11.5" in the rear.

They would weigh about 35 pounds too.

If you get a chance could you send a picture of your Mustang from the side and rear. Also, what spring did you choose to lower the car.
Thanks,
John

In all of these pics the car was completely stock suspension. I'm in the process of gathering parts now. Only other thing I'm waiting on now is shocks and struts. Hoping to have it done early next year
