Ordered my blower

Well I finally ordered my blower. Went with the vmp stage 2 kit with 82mm pulley colder plugs and thermostat. Has anyone here ever had an experience with vmp? I've heard nothing but good things about their company. Also I'll be posting the build process in here as well whenever I start installing it. It won't ship out until December 8th though

It will hook. With right suspension and a good tire.

it won't be instant tq, like a 03 cobra. The higher compression of the coyote ruins that. To get the tvs to act like a 03 cobra instantly the compression had to be dropped.

Yeah vmp is tuning it. I'm still debating on if I can tackle this install myself or not. I still may hit up hypermotive to do the install as they quoted me a good price which is hard to pass up.

Well if you can afford the install and they'll warranty it and you don't feel comfortable doing it I'd say pay them to do it but not my money. I'd never personally pay someone myself seeing as I have tools and as long as the instructions are good I'm fine but that's me.

Hey question about the VMP kits i see late model restoration had a kit for 6k comes with the non fan radiator. For a weekend fun car is the non fan good? I know 700 more for the stage 2 kit isn't bad. But to the wife it is. 😁

I talked to a few different places about the fans and they say they're worth it. Basically no heat soak issues. And the thermostat I got from VMP because they said they recommend it to everyone that buys their kits. Good thing. Cause I had no idea I may need a cooler one.

Congrats. I have been real happy with Justin at VMP for tuning. His TVS setups are way fast. Good luck.

Heck yeah I am. I'm starting on the install soon. Probably Thursday or Friday I'll start tearing it down even if I don't have everything. I'll have that much done. I'll be sure to take lots of pics and make a build thread!!
