lol, well if that's the case, then I guess Adam was correct in blaming the shifter, in this case, the shifter being the driver.......assuming this is accurate, but as I said always more to the story

I was hoping to have a good review of the new race spec at the track today but, the track was closed due to weather. Next lapping day will be Jan 10th.

my race spec will arrive this Tuesday! however I won't be able to install it until after January 5th, I take the car to the dealership for my mt82 issues, so I'll either be installing my shifter on a brand new mt82 or a Revolution Automotive stage 1 rebuilt one.......

I wish you luck my brother! Don't forget to utilize Deysha from allfordmustangs for warranty issues when your car is in. She can get your issue escalated and handled. She is the Ford service rep on that board.

I would honestly just do the 899 stage 1 rebuild. It'll probably be the best route.

well that was my plan after the first dealership wouldnt even contact Ford about repairing/replacing the transmission. I figure I still have 1.5yrs or 40k miles of powertrain warranty remaining, Im gonna see what one more dealership can do. I really dont want to put money out for a transmission rebuild if I dont have to, I mean Im looking at $1100 at a bare minimum for Revolution to rebuild the trans, as the $900 is labor and the upgraded shift pads, doesnt include any parts, which can get expensive quickly

I wish I could get in contact with them to figure it out. I thought the price included replacing worn synchros. They are super to get a hold of.

I talked to them already, it only includes labor, touching up the syncros for smoother shifting, and the improved fork pads, if you need bearings, gears, or syncros, that's extra. just call them man, Dasan will be the guy that answers the phone, he's very knowledgeable and helpful

Spend some time with the reverse lockout adjustment. Drive it around without the boot and bring the tools with you to try different adjustments. Have fun.
