2014 Mustang GT Premium. Oxford White.

Hello everyone.

I was looking for some advice on selling my mustang. I bought the mustang last year after getting frustrated with not being able to find a house that suited me. So naturally I bought a nice car since I was paying cheap rent. Of course as soon as I bought the car I found a great house. I'd like to sell the car so I can have more money to put into the house. I was looking for some advice on how to sell a brand new car. My mustang has less than 5000 miles on it. I tried to sell my 2011 Camaro SS with only 7000 miles on craigslist before I got the mustang but didn't have much luck. I was thinking a fair asking price would be between $28k and $30k. What do you guys think?

TLR

Looking for tips on how to sell a basically new car.
2014 Mustang GT.
Premium, so track gauges, leather, and power everything.
No brembos, and no nav.
4500 miles
Oxford white.

Go to Car Max and get a quote, then sell for a few thousand higher... With the 2015's out, ours did take a hit...

I think it will make a difference where you are located and the CARMAX thing is a really good idea. They usually offer more than a dealer and that's a good place to start.
I bought a 14 with 2700 miles, 6spd, TrackPak, Brembo, Recaro's and Shaker Sound and paid less than $27k. Look at AutoTrader.com Cars.com and any of the Mustang sites where you can post your car.

I had been looking for awhile and had a friend at a Chevy dealer who knew what I was looking for gave me a call, the original owner of the Mustang traded it on a new 2014 Corvette and the Chevy dealer just wanted it off their lot..................and it even came with an Airaid CAI and SCT tuner.

What's your VIN? Or do you have a pic of the window sticker?

Why do you want to see his vin? Just to see if it actually came with all those parts?

Just to look up the original window sticker. See all options he may not have listed, MSRP etc.

I like to do my research when shopping and I'm currently shopping

When I bought the car I asked if the dealer if I could get a copy of the window sticker, and when I picked the car up he showed it to me on his computer, but I didn't get a copy.
I would rather not broadcast my Vin # all over the internet.
Is there a question if the car came from the factory with the options I said it did?, not sure why you would want my vin #.

See previous post.

To get your window sticker, input your VIN at the end of this link:

http://www.inventory.ford.com/servic...icker.pdf?vin=

Then you can screenshot/crop it.

EDIT: Didn't notice who I replied to... but I was directing all my posts to the OP since he said he is interested in possibly selling. I don't have any reason to question what options you have listed lol aka I never wanted your VIN.

That's ok, I thought you were directing it to me, not the guy who wants to sell his 14 Mustang.

I actually work as a buyer for carmax so I know a little bit a lot what we'd offer. Lol. Extra clean book on a 14 gt is $26k and we rarely are that high in black book. Probably closer to $24k is what you would see from an appraisal. Selling it would be somewhere around $28k. If you have any questions feel free to ask.
