14 GT/Procharger Question
Hello all, first off, I have the suspension order finalized and ready to go. The previous thread you all helped very much with that, thank you all. I am now looking at the next step, forced induction. I am pretty well set on the centrifugal design/characteristics as the vehicle is a DD. The question is more pulley/accessory based. I plan on having the SC installed with long tube headers and an X pipe. The tune will be the Procharger tune "tweeked" on a dyno to my car. I plan on upgrading to the D1 model as it is only a $200-$300 difference. Not because I plan on making a race car right now, but I want the option down the road if I choose to.
The question, with just the addition of the headers and X pipe can I (have you) run more than boost than 7#'s which is factory pulley? It will be the stage two kit with the large intercooler. I still need reliability as it is my DD but just wondering if installing the header will be worth the extra grand or two.
