You will be very happy with the Steeda CAI & if you want to pair it with the Steeda tuner w/ tunes for life ... then you would be very happy with the results ... very noticeable difference!!

Here is an article that we did on our Steeda CAi ... just to give you an idea of how our unit is constructed & the performance you can expect - Why Steeda Cold Air Intakes Blow Away The ‘Competition’ | Steeda Blog

With our tunes, you are going to receive a tune that is very safe, powerful & reliable.

Let me know if I can help assist with a forum discount on the Steeda CAI? You can p.m. me your information & we can get pricing out to you ASAP.

Best Regards,

TJ

Are you guys just throwing on cai's with not tunes or what?

Mike roush said my CAI didn't require a tune. Not sure if that had any effect on the tune I bought or what difference it makes while making a tune but mine doesn't require one.

Either 1: This guy is one hell of a hussler and he's purposely calling out one of the top dogs on here knowing full well what he's doing
or.
2: he's a punk kid with a big mouth who thinks just because he has a 5.0 he's untouchable.
Or
3: he's just a moron and has no idea who rap is or what he's running.

My guess is 2 and 3...

CAI/Tune

Also this is for a 2013 automatic GT.
I bought the bbk because it didn't require a tune, but IMHO it did nothing so I have the stock air box back on with the K&N low flow filter.
The thing that bothers me about a lot of these CAI's is that they don't seal to the OE air inlet, so I'm thinking they are sucking the air from the engine compartment and not outside.
One of my coworkers talked me into the CAI, he was a calibrater for Volvo/Mack trucks and He suggested we tune it.
For now, I got the procal, when the waranty's up in two years I'm going to go with a supercharger. Car's going away for the winter anyhow.

Yes, everyone has their opinion, and usually, I keep mine to myself.
Some people are just after max hp and that's ok, ain't my place to say that's wrong or foolish or what ever. It's your money, your car, you do what makes you happy. Rappinator is usually pretty helpful and not condescending unless he encounters a poster such as our friend.
That said, I agee, he probably 2 and 3.

Removed a few posts that can be seen as "egging one on"; and some have been PM'd to address how we are to respect opinions without name calling.

This thread is in danger of being closed. Let's remember the rules on how we respect others opinions; the rules will be enforced.
