Yeah I just don't want to go more then an inch in the front. So looks like it's either steeda, ford, or eibach pro

I have the Steeda sports too and I really like them. Just a little bit firmer than stock and levels the car perfectly. I can fit three fingers in each wheel well.

K springs or BMR. The fastest stock motor NA 5.0 runs K springs.

What ever you do don't go with eibach. I'm going threw a bad experience with them so I have nothing good to say about them.

I put Eibach Sportlines on mine, approximately 1.2" drop in front and almost 2" in the rear, pretty much leveled the car. It's slightly firmer than OE. They work for me and that's all that counts.
I used Sportlines on my 97 Cobra, then changed to Steeda, and finally ended up with FPP springs. FPP springs worked best on the 97.

I got the Steeda Sports with Koni Yellows, they are stiffer than the Track Pack springs and you will feel it over bumps and bad roads. I didn't want to go more than 1 - 1 1/2" either, but they dropped it a little less than I wanted, the front dropped about 7/8" and the rear about 1".

Another vote for k springs. Although the drop isn't too aggressive, I'd suggest you get panhard bar and LCAs with bracket + camber bolts/plates depending on your budget. Get an allignment after.

Yeah the k springs are out I don't want to go that low in the front. It will either be steeda sport, or ford racing p springs with panhard bar and camber bolts just incase I need them.

I did the Steeda Sports and the Koni Yellows together and I'm very happy with the drop and the ride. I also upgraded to the ford racing jounce bumpers from the stock ones which I know is overlooked a lot but I think they really do make a significant difference. I keep my struts at max softness on my daily driver and I'm very pleased with the ride quality and I consider it an improvement over the stock setup in all aspects.

Do you think the springs and stock struts would work fine for just daily driving no track?

What springs are you looking to buy though? It all depends on much of a drop they have. For example if it's 1.25"+, I'd do control arm (with mounts), panhard bar and bolts to realign your cars geometry (with proper alignment done of course).. and then shocks/struts.

After putting the Eibach Sportline springs in I had the front end alignment checked and it was still within Ford spec's, although it was on the high end, but acceptable for now.
It's interesting the Les Schwab tire centers have dropped Eibach because of Liability issues and gone with H&R for their dropped suspensions.

It will either be the steeda sport springs that are 1 inch up front an 1.25 in back or ford racing p springs that are 1 inch all the way around.

Yeah they would be good for a daily driver, mine is and I love them. Get the ford racing jounce bumpers and also get some adjustable camber bolts at AM they are like $30 there, I forgot to purchase them myself and the shop charged me $55 for some.

I've only had my mustang for a few weeks but it has the eibach pro system plus on it. So far I have no complaints. My wife likes the way it rides better then my last mustang 09 GT with the stock suspension. Here's a pic to kinda show you how it looks. Click image for larger version
