BAMA 93 Race Tune MPG help

I have recently started running the BAMA 93 Race Tune on my 2013 auto GT and I have notice the "Miles to E" info has gone from around 250 to 345. I wanted to know if the tune will cause the info to be insufficient or if the miles on a full tank actually shot up there.
New to all this. Go easy on me. Thanks.

BAMA 93 Race Tune MPG help

Hey,

This is from my 2014 v6 but it should also apply to you.

When I tuned my car (93 Race like yours), my miles to E also shot up by an extra 100ish. It's just because your computer was reset (you'll also notice your MPG has been reset). As you drive, it'll adjust itself based on how you drive. Mine adjusted itself as I went and returned back to normal.

Also, I have noticed an increase in MPG since tuning my car. Therefore, your miles to E could very well have gone up as well!

Hope that helps.

Hey Dylan-Sorry about the delay but it's looking like Die beat me to it once again! This is definitely on the normal side! How long has the tune been on the car anyhow? As much fun as the Race tune is I usually recommend loading up the Street tune first and then moving up through the Performance and then the Race tune to get a better idea of how they'll react in different scenarios.

Let me know if you're to have any other questions, I'm always around to help!

Alex

Been running it for 2 days now. Fell in love with my car again. It just feels like this tune really woke up my 5.0 she's just waiting to be pushed to her limits now! Great tune!

I have the same tune in my 2013 gt manual. Mpg did go up from the tune but not that much you just need the computer to analyze your driving and fule use to determine the estimated miles to empty.

Mine still shows correctly. Although my mile per gallon has gone down a few but I think that's mainly because my foot magnetically connects with the floor most days now. That's my subtle way of saying I love stomping on the gas.
