On the move...

So it is getting close to that point of getting a new car and I am looking into the mustangs more than ever now. I really want the new 4 cylinder turbo "ecoboost" but I will only buy that next year when the new line comes out and the prices of those finally even out.

Otherwise, I am over the "luxury" 2 door BMW which is insanely slow. I am thinking about looking at a 2012, 2013 and possibly a 2014 (if the price is right) Mustang GT 6 speed. I am trying to do some research on my own but keep coming to a halt. I really don't want just the basic cloth interior, so my question would be which packages have some nice leather seats or recaros if they make them in this year. Or would just getting the Track Package with the bremo breaks be enough? Thanks guys!

if you really want the '15 ecoboost, why don't you just wait until like you said next year? plus what are you looking to do with the mustang? daily driver? daily driver with some racing here and there? mostly racing?

It would be my daily driver since I'm in college but I could use my parents explorer if needed to save on miles. The ecoboost and the options you could do seem like it would be worth it especially at the pump, but the v8 is always a soft spot for me. I'm more into cosmetic mods rather than diving into the engine, but simple bolt on mods and of course an exhaust would have to be done. I'm not going for a track monster but rather an eye catcher that will occasionally take the ricers down.

If you're at all interested in the exhaust note why would you chose a 4cyl?

Because it would save a lot on gas and also insurance out here in Arizona for a 20 year old is ridiculous.

Eyecatcher?

GT350/500 > Boss 302 > GT > V6/Ecoboost

It's a fourbanger. You roll up in a car with legit tags that says GT/350/500/Boss and you'll get more eye catching than the fourbanger. No matter the cosmetic mods on the four cylinder.

Totally agree with you, just I don't know if I can afford that expensive tag just yet lol
