Stubby antenna

Im looking for a stubby antenna for my 2012 on Amazon, ebay etc etc and I see good and bad reviews. Anyone have any advice on brand with the stubby antenna's? Ive seen reviews so bad where people say they didnt get any stations at all and that they picked up stations better with NO antenna installed over the stubby.

I just installed the stubby from latemodelrestoration and it has not affected reception at all. It looks good too.

I have the SVE and BlowbyRacing one side by side. They look the same. Both billet. guess it comes down to price so that mean SVE at 17.99. Just bought it. Thanks

I had the BBR and reception suffered, and now have the Craven Speed stubby, which is the best looking one available imo, reception still suffered, I don't care what they say in order to get you to buy these things, they hurt reception

LORL yeah thats why I thoguth I would ask. Well I bought the SVE so I guees its gonna have to do. Wonder why it suffers so much? Doesnt seem like a few inches would make it suffer. Maybe billet doesnt pick up signal like the stock wire inside. Are the stubbies just solid billet or does it have a wire in the center?

Is there a more expensive option that guarantees no loss in reception?

Cut the stock antenna down where it goes from thick to skinny and cap it with a 7/32 vacuum cap from any auto parts store. Reception is still perfect and it looks great.
