Where can I get 12v swited on a 2011!?!?

Hey guys, I'm at a stand still here with my 2011 gt. For the life of me, I cannot find a 12v ignition switched power source anywhere. I installed the plx dm100 multi obd2 gauge, and it needs 12v switched. I grabbed the good ol multi meter. And i removed the center console, gauge cluster trim, radio, fuse panel in the passenger kick well, and looked for the "automatic tranny harness the 6 speed manuals are supposed to have just lying under the shift boot" which my car doesn't have.. I also tried the convertible harness sitting in the center console and it gets 12v but none of them are switched. So where? And very specifically where can I find such a wire or fuse to tap into? Thanks for helping!

Radio and Cig Lighter should have had 12v. I would check that you have 12v at the battery or test again with the car running. I am thinking that the Battery may not be fully charged which is why you are not getting 12v. If not you may need to wire into the fuse box in the engine compartment.

I'm getting 12 volts in all those places, but all those places get 12 volts even when the car is off and the key out. I need switched 12v Which means when they key is on the gauge will be on, when the key is off the gauge will turn off

Hmmm, that would work... But I don't want to go though the hassle of running a wire that far. It will be a last resort.

On the link where the service manual is located, you can also find the schematics. Here's the instrument cluster
Ford Service Manuals - Wiring Diagrams

That one shows Fuse F36 is switched.

Clicking on the Audio System - that Schematic shows F28 is hot on start (but doesn't mention hot in run). So if that suggestion above didn't work for you, maybe try F38 instead.

Note that the schematic also shows the wires/color code so you can splice directly into the wire, instead of the fuse box, if you want to do that.
