Can a tune enhance performance in select shift mode?

As the title states, I'm curious if a tune can enhance throttle response and up/downshift responsive of your car in manual select shift mode? I cant really feel any 'noticable' different from stock with my BAMA tune, even though they claim it other way around. And oh the delay - also apparent in D when I go WOT, it doesn't quickly downshift after I floor it.

I know most people over here are not a fan of BAMA, I am just curious if i'm expecting too much from Steeda cai and tune?

Uh the extra horse power I believe is there in drive, sport or in manual mode. My car is a blast in manual shift, huge difference. Lund tuned.

You're auto right? Good to hear you're enjoying your lund tune, I ordered mine on Wednesday.. should be getting it early next week.

What's mods do you have? Is there any delay in shifts during manual select shift mode? Mine currently has a little delay, and it lags for a split second before it takes off when I punch it.

I'm excited to know that!! Makes my wait even more impatient lol I unfortunately have winter tires on, and they suck pig balls when I punch it.

The tech behind protecting our cars is impressive. Least in my opinion. By this I refer to the car being able to detect timing issues or octane levels and self adjust to keep its self with in safe levels. Lund could see where my car was adjusting timing because of crappy gas available in my state, and when adding octane booster, he could see my car releasing timing (so how I understood it).

Aye lund is the man! I'm prolly gonna go on dyno to get a proper datalog for him, it's only 20 bucks a pull. Sucks there ain't no 'mexico' streets here in Vancouver :/

I have also heard nothing but good things about MPT, which is the other tune I ordered just for shiets and giggles. Although I'm guessing I will hardly use it haha
