CFM breather cap question

Anyone running this? I'm hoping one day to get a vortech for my 2012. I've been looking into breathers and oil catch cans. I have a jlt passenger side can right now but I don't think that works with the vortech set up.

I was wondering if that breather cap would relieve enough pressure were I could run the Vortech set up without a can. My though is relieve pressure = little to no blow through vapors.

I have one on my 3.7 V6

These are very well made and although I have a V6 I use a catch can on my passenger side and the Filter in place of my filler cap.
I think you will need one for each side of your V8. Call CFM and they can point you to what you will need to do it right. They are very good and I'm sure they will help you.

I would recommend heading over to the gt500 side and do a search on oil separators for info. Tons of info that will help your application. Most of them seem to run catch cans.

I have the Bob's autosports pass side firewall catch can with my vortech on my 12 BOSS. A driver side catch can is not needed.

Does that bob one work with the pvc valve? Or that check valve that comes with the vortech.

The hose connects to the PCV on the pass side with heat shrink hose clamps. The other side to the intake manifold. The vortech will come with its own PCV setup that you will not be using.
