Eleanor Project Progress

Hey guys so I finally had free time and wanted to share that the Elanore Scoops were put in. So far there has been only tint (10%) Tined Headlights and Fog Lights, Flat Black 5.0 and the Elanore...

And just in case your on the fence... It does create a bit of a blind spot but it's not that bad if your a cautious driver. Also MMD prepainted the parts but it did not match so I had Ford install and Paint for $180 which was great!

Would love your opinion and maybe the next step? I was thinking ducktail or gt500 spoiler... Not sure, anyone has any advice... Thanks ahead Click image for larger version

Looks good. I've been on the fence about the Eleanor scoops since I bought the car. I think I'm gunna pass on them. I like the cobra jet flush mounts as well.

Question on the window treatments (in general). How are they held on? Do they come off easily for when it gets all dirty in there?

Pretty sure it's just 3M. No idea on ease of uninstallation, but I've heard from some the Elanore scoops are quite noisy because of wind at highway speeds.

I love the ruby red metallic, I have the same. I would suggest having the dealer take their name off of the car, it would look a lot cleaner. I've also pondered the MMD dovetail spoiler. Please share pics if you do decide to go with that spoiler.

I love the color as well just it is so hard to keep it from swirl marks and small scratches... I just took it to the body shop so they could also get rid of some marks and I found another today 😢

I've got a couple small scratches but nothing major, but no swirls and I've had it since June 1st '13. I've never once had someone other than myself wash it and if I do take it through a carwash, I use touchless. The car is basically a weekend car though, sees a lot of bugs during weekend drives up to the family cottage and back. I really don't see any other ruby red metallic '14 gt's around here in NW Ohio and SE Michigan. How about in your parts?

We stay American and I got my wife a Cadillac ATS with the idea of using that more during the weekend but she hogs that car so unfortunately I end up driving the mustang a lot. I have seen a few v6 in that color but I am the only 14 with Track Pack v8 and now big ears so. When we saw the car in the dealer which we originally came for a 2014 RTR but white we fell in love with the Rex instead and haven't stopped smiling since.

I was thinking about tinting my headlights as well. How much does it effect the brightness of the headlights. I have been kinda skeptical as I used to have tinted lights on my Avalanche with HIDs and it dimmed them horribly as I found out driving cross country.

I had a tint shop do the work so they used a less darker film and it works great. You lose a little bit I have no issues on highways
