The story behind this car is some 60 year old bought it and traded it for a Kia Soul and cash. It has 16k miles.

Beautiful car! I have a coworker with the same color and its totally decked out. I think he paid around 90k. He only has 1600 miles after over a year of owning it though so hopefully you drive yours more than that. Congrats!

Man that's sexy. I'm thinking about getting one in about 2 years. How much did that one run you?

I think I'm going to keep it mostly stock. However...I think suspension mods and tires are a must for this car. Traction was good in my 5.0. I want the same traction in this.

I don't understand. I thought you had a GT500 that you BOUGHT from the same Lambo dealer? So now you have a 14 GT?

You were posting how great life was as a fitness trainer or nutritionist or whatever and how your ballin being that you were able to "consider" purchasing a Lambo but instead "end up buying the GT500".

Very fishy stuff here.

In this thread he also posted how he had a GT once first then traded for a GT500 then back to a GT???

I mean who does that?

The 13-14 carbon fiber hood vents wont last for more than 6-7 months before the clear starts separating from the carbon fiber. It starts to turn milky where the curve is on the very first vent. This is because the clear is separating from the carbon fiber. And eventually it splits open. I had this happen to one set after 6 months and trucarbon offered to replace them. I didn't take the offer because I traded my car for a gt500 the next day. Wel.... I traded the gt500 for another gt and bought the hood vents again, and what do you know...the same damn thing happens in less than 5 months. I called trucarbon at the 7 month mark because it royally pisses me off that this is the second set with the same issue, and this time...trucarbon tells me they won't send me a free replacement set. Apparently clear coat separates from carbon fiber after 7 months and trucarbon doesn't stand behind their product or believe that carbon fiber should last longer than 7 months. Pics are below...

And here come the haters.

First of all...I purchased a 2014 GT500 not a 2014 GT. Yes I had a 2014 GT and a 2011 GT500. I sold both to purchase this 2014 GT500. I am now searching for a practical daily driver as I don't want to daily drive this car. Any other questions or did we clear that up enough for you? And yes...life is still good in my neck of the woods. Thanks for making yourself look like an idiot.Click image for larger version

What's fishy?

Here's a pic of my red gt and gt500 below. I sold the red gt for the gt500, and I honestly liked the gt better...so I purchased a black gt as well. I put the gt500 in storage with the intention of selling it, but at the last minute the buyer backed out so I kept it until now. I traded both my black gt and gt500 for this 2014 gt500.

I've been searching for a low mileage 13 or 14 for quite some time but I could never get them for what I was willing to pay. I ended up getting mine for 50,000 with a little neg equity rolled over. And I got this at 2 percent financing, so I really couldn't pass it up.

Really nice car! 2 of the guys I work with have them so I have driven one and it's nasty no doubt. But that is about as cheap as you will probably get they both paid in the 60's but one had 775 miles and the other had 1800 miles so that's probably about right.

Idk why people make a big deal about it. Lol. I mean it's a gt500. Not like u have to be loaded to have one. I could've had one but I wanted to
Do things my own way. A lot of shelbys around here anyway and people don't expect a 5.0 like mine to have what it does under the hood lol. Def nice car though!

I agree man... It's nothing special. And honestly it needs a lot of suspension work. I was on the fence with just super charging my 5.0 but I got a deal on this 500 so I went for it. My payment is 200 more than my gt. If I cut out Starbucks I break even. It's no big deal at all. I think people just love to hate on this forum. Most of them are kids that live in heir parents basements.

Yeah people definitely get jealous. people make smart comments all the time about all the vehicles I have. It's not because I'm wealthy I just find a way to get what I want and not afraid to spend my money. Life is short live for the day!

Supercharge your current and it'll make more
Power than a Shelby(with the right blower and things). You're paying a lot for the name on the car which some people care about. Some don't. Not hating on the people that do. Some people just want that car because it's already supercharged
Plus many other things.

What you have to consider though a lot of the guys I know mod the shelbys even further. In fact my friend is getting a new Kenny Bell supercharger for his. So the quest never ends you just move up to a higher starting point.

My friend recently sold his kenne bell charged Shelby. He made
Like 970whp it was crazy. Yeah I agree u have a higher start point. But you can make the same power on a 5.0 if you forge the internals and run a Paxton blower. They've been shown over 1000 hp so beefcake says.

1000hp in a mustang that's just insane! Still haven't decided on whether to supercharge the boss or not. I have some time though blew my wad between Christmas and buying the car. So we will see
