Mustang GT exhaust install issue

Okay so i decided to install the outlaw system in my driveway with jacks or lift, which was surprisingly easy. However the u bolt clamps i had to buy from autozone seem iffy and i have the feeling it wont hold correct and thus cause a leak. Does anyone have experience with how much the flowmaster outlaw system will slide in the exhaust to where the clamp will cover? Seems all hardware store have only those ugly u bolt clamps. Ill post some pictures tomorrow. But just seeing if anyone will chime in.

When old clamps are welded onto the car? I mean unless you ripped them off?

NP, good luck.

Yup just bend them back, you'll see they are held on by just small tab that's tack welded.

Think of a soda can tab...few back and forth bends and pops right off easy as can be.

I have Borla axle backs and used the OEM clamps as well.
