Who makes the best headers for a good price.

Hi I see a great range of headers for sale. Who has what and how do you guys like them. I got a buddy who love KOOKs and I know they have a good product. But 1,500 is alittle pricey. How do the other company stack up.

on the lower cost end, I'd say JBA as well, I have Pypes but I can't recommend them because fitment is hit or miss with them

Bbk actually is the worst possible header to go with on the coyotes. Not trying to hate, it's true they are not a good make, Quality, design etc.
I explained this to trevor, but he had already purchased them. I would not put bbk on my car if it was free.

1. American racing or kooks
2. Stainless works
3. Stainless power
4. JBA

If you say so, power wise bbk makes no more power over a quality offroad x. You get what you pay for when it comes to headers. Alot of shops will not even install bbk bc of there horrible fitment.

Putting headers together is a science. Every length of the tubes needs to be the same. Bbk just slaps crap together and calls it a " header "

It's all names... 1-7/8 this will be same as that brand. And so on with 1-3/4...

Lethal had no problems with installation and said it was a piece of cake for everything, (except the oil pump gears).

We'll see how it lasts in the long run,

BBK Longtubes
BBK X Pipe
SR Lowering Springs
Stock struts / Shocks...
Perfectly working out for me for at least 15K miles now.. / 46K (total)miles for the struts/shocks

And everyone says they're horrible... They're doing the job though.

It's far from " just names" when it comes to headers, you have alot to learn bud.

How is that going to be relevant? It would have to be the same car, same day, same dyno,

Like I said you have alot to learn. Of you think headers are just " names"

That's what I'm saying dude. A video of BBK vs ARH. I'm sure their is minimal if any difference in #s & the quality doesn't even matter, nobody's gonna see them... They fit perfect .... If the ceramic starts to rust away in a few years then we'll change them. But hey.. After a few months they're still looking fresh af.

Lol well if ARH Even gives 10+ HP over BBK still wouldn't go with them. That's close to 600 more which could easily thro a BBR Reaper Kit on and make x10+ more power.....all personal preference though on $/HP Ratios.

Corrected DA 11.9 @ 120 with stock converter and dead street tires on a bad tune with no weight reduction...

Like I said lol, if I get a converter, weight reduction and some good ol slicks and skinnys I'll be low 11s too. Oh and your automatic... That's fun ^.^

You don't have a converter. You have a manual

That's what I'm saying. He's auto with converter. That brings a few tenths down without his weight reduction / wheels

Manuals don't have a converter. Only autos man. Autos are where it's at for good consistent times.

The combination of all his parts make up good times. As with any build. Like mine say, you can't just slap a blower on an expect to be fast. U have to have supporting mods like tires suspension etc etc. just like your car you know. And driver which auto doesn't take much skill I admit.

Some people don't know that though seriously. Some guys around where I live think their cars will be fast if they turbo or blow it and that's all. They don't understand the whole suspension ordeal to plant the power
