Excited for Monday, 2014 GT?

Since foolishly selling my 2011 GT two months ago for (at the time) good reasons, I've been slightly depressed driving a brand new 14 Taurus Limited. At the time, I thought my base GT was too basic...although freaking awesome, it lacked things I thought were important, like Sync and a power seat.
So now, this couch on wheels that has every conceivable option has to go. I discovered it's so much more important to me to love the driving experience than have comfort features.
Monday I'll be traveling 2.5 hours South towards Boston to attempt a trade for a used 14 GT, manual with tech package, 12k miles. I'm having a hard time finding one that's : black, manual, 2011+, power seat and sync. This one hits all the marks and it's just about the only one. Oh...and unmolested so to speak.
If the terms are right, I'll snag it! The price seems decent at $25900
Just nervous my lower credit score from a previous divorce etc will prevent this, although fortunately I have a crap ton of equity in this Taurus. So we will see. I'll def update this Monday night.

Just checked them, Doesn't look like anything for me, except the GT500 would be nice!
I got my 2011 from Herb Chambers but looks like they don't have anything right now either.
Beware of this one at Stoneham Ford, 2013 55k miles...biggest POS I have ever driven.junk!

Base model but seats were replaced with GT500 seats that aren't installed correctly. It's been lowered so badly that it feels like there is absolutely no suspension whatsoever-seriously. It just felt like driving a 20 year old beater. I turned around after two blocks and told the salesman I wasted 2 hours driving down. It's had a hard short life. It was abused, not cherished.
Nice non factory wheels but no Tpms was installed.

I hope things work out for you on the 14. I would get pre approval from your bank before going to dealership so you know roughly where your at % wise. Then you can at least ask for better rate from dealer to get your business. Yesterday was first day in a week since I drove the stang. It was clear, sunny, and cold out. The car brought a huge smile to my face to be able to rev it out a few times.

Not a bad price but you may be able to do a little better. I bought my base model 14 GT new in Aug of 2013 for $28,400 with 38 miles on it. It didn't have the tech package but it did have the automatic transmission.

Hope everything works out and you can get it.
