Raxiom headlights with HIDs?

Would the raxiom housings be able to house HIDs?

Yes it will
Im not sure what type HIDs they are but of course they will fit you should have no problem
I think theyre H11s
But when you go get them installed they should tell you what they are. Or if you order online just google it and it will tell you

Sweet the stock bulbs are way to dim with those housings.

Hey Kona,

The HID's will work with the Raxiom setup no problem.

The only issue you would run into is heat.

HID's get extremely hot and we have seen them melt the housings (both stock and Raxiom) which would void the Raxiom 2 year warranty.

That being said, with a quality HID kit you should be good!

Hope this helps and let me know if you have any questions!

Thanks Will do u have recommendations on a HID kit that won't be that hot? I'd definitely prefer to not burn through a nice set of housings.

What do u think the brightness difference is between the two? I might just go 55 though.

Well for me it was a pretty big difference considering that mine were the smoked raxiom but if yours arent going to be smoked then 35 should be fine
I never got a complaint about blinding people

Kona,

Although the guys at Raxiom might kill me for recommending HID's , I would simply run a high quality 35 watt HID.

Don't tell them I told you this, but on my 2012 5.0, I ran a 35 watt HID in my Raxioms and had no issues for over a year .

Hope this helps!

Sounds like 35 Watt it is! I'll probably go looking for them after I get my brakes done.
