Axle back question

Hey guys I'm new to the website so if this has been asked before I appologize. I have a 2011 gt/cs and I have found a pair of axlebacks from a 2014 gt500 quad tip. I know you would have to cut the diffuser but what about the over axle pipes are they the same diameter and are the mounts at least close to the same ? Only reason I'm considering it is the gt500s I found are too good a deal to pass up. Thanks for any feedback hope to post pics and contribute more in the future.

Axle backs are usually listed on sights for 11-14 so should be bo problem there. You should buy a new diffuse r that fits the quads instead of cutting though

Won't work without hacking up the diffuser since no one currently makes one in the aftermarket.

It is all for the 2013 and 14 apparently. Thanks for pointing that out.

The over the axle pipes are the same between the two other than the GT500 OTA pipes do not have resonators like the factory GT pipes do. Pipe size and length are the same.

In fact, I'm running a pair of OTA pipes off of a 2013 GT500 on my 14 GT along with the single tip GT500 mufflers.

For $150, I would buy them and turn around and sell them for a profit. Most people are getting at least $400 for a pair of those.

I wish someone would make a rear diffuser for the 11-12 cars. I would love to do a quad tip.

Yeah it really does look nice. Have you seen any good diy jobs in fitting the quad in there?
