I got my take off Premium wheels installed yesterday.

Here are a couple of pictures of the take off machined and black pocket 19" wheels and tires I picked up a couple of weeks ago and installed yesterday.

I had to have new TPMS sensors installed because the wheels didn't come with them. I ordered a set of Ford Racing ones off of Ebay that also came with the Ford reset tool. The sensors were actual Ford ones.

I had a little trouble putting the car in the reset mode but I figured out that I was not pushing down on the brake pedal far enough and once I figured that out, I had all four sensors reset for the car in about a minute.

Here is a picture of the car with the stock wheels on. I like the new ones a lot better.

I just had the same rims that we're take offs a GT installed on my sixer this last week. I had some Hancook's installed too. My tire shop used the TPMS off of my stock rims for my 19" GT ones. I LOVE these rims. I haven't come across any aftermarket rims that I like at any price. But these stock GT ones are by far my favorite. Your car is very nice!!

Thanks guys. I'm really happy with these wheels and are IMHO, the best looking of the stock wheels that were offered for my year car.

I bought new TPMS sensors just because I'm not sure what I'm doing with my stock wheels yet and I think if I decide to sell them, they will sell better with the TPMS sensors still in them.

Take it back to the shop. They should have synced them. If they won't do it, some place will. I can't imagine that it would cost very much to do because it only takes a few minutes to put the car in reset mode and then reset the sensors with the tool.

I would go back but I got my wheels on when I went home for winter break and I didn't have a chance to go back to the shop before going back to school

Don't get me wrong, I like the stock rims as well and they are my second choice of the stock rims offered on the 14 Mustangs but I wanted a wheel with some black to it but not all black and I didn't see anything aftermarket that I liked plus I got the bonus of almost new tires.

Putting these new rims and tires on also let me see that most of the noise I was hearing while the car was going down the road were the factory tires. I have way less noise with this setup.

I paid $900 for the wheels and tires. I bought the TPMS sensors and reset tool for $110 and paid $25 to have the sensors installed in the wheels for a grand total of $1,035. I tried to get the guy to sell me the wheels and tires for less but he wouldn't budge because he had already come down from the $1,000 he was asking.

It was a little more than I wanted to pay but these don't come up for sale that often so I bought them.

Those look nice on your car. There's a set for sale in my area for $500 with tires that claim to have 80% thread left. I thought they were asking too much for some stock wheels.

Thanks. $900 is the cheapest I've seen this design of wheel go for around here. There was a local set that was for sale on CL last year for $900 that included the TPMS sensors and the original tires that had about 5,000 miles on them. I should have bought those but didn't.

I put the same wheels on my car and gave 1k for the set with almost no miles. I sold my original wheels for 800 so think I did ok.

Today I stopped at a Ford dealer just to test drive a new 15 GT for the heck of it and the salesman who went with me complimented me on the wheels saying he really liked them, especially with the color of my car.

Now if you get the black 5.0 emblems you will really be in business.

I have thought about getting some. I actually have a set of black 5.0 emblems for a 2015 GT that I got free when I bought my UPR can. They are a little different than the 14 style and I'm not sure they would work or not on mine.

I finally got see those black premium wheels in person on a SGM ‘14 GT and they look great. The owner said they were part of a factory black option which also included black mirror caps and black rear spoiler. It was purchased new from dealer stock and said the option was listed on the window sticker.

I remember seeing that option in the Mustang broshure and have actually seen a few cars with the option. I really like these wheels and to me, they really wake up the look of the car.

The only problem with those is they aren't wide enough.

If they were wider (like 245 front, 285 rear), I'd have ordered those.

Glad the new 2015 Performance package has staggered wheels with 275's on the rear, while its still a little insufficient for a car with crappy traction control and a lot of hp/torque its much better than the 255 wide rears from previous year's performance / track packs.

Thanks again everyone. I'm fine with how wide they are so that is not an issue for me. I keep getting compliments from people at work so I guess most people like the change.
