Question SW longtube airy sound

So I got my stainless works longtubes and o/r x - pipe installed today. Gains were great but it sounds "airy" now as the rpms rise. I've had some Hondas do this after header installs but my last 5.0 with bbk longtubes I never noticed it. Anyone else experience this on there's? There is no ticking or popping, just airy sound.

More flow, more sound.

I've noticed that on all header installs with the coyote if the exhaust isn't all that loud. Most of the time, with headers, our exhaust was so loud the "airy" was muffled.

Makes complete sense. Just wanted to make sure so I don't have to get under there and start hunting leaks.

Hey Famine,

I run the Stainless Works Long Tube Headers and Off-Road X-Pipe Kit on my personal 2014 Track Pack 5.0 and although I love it, I noticed the same sound!

I've checked for leaks over and over and found nothing! I ended up just getting used to it and making some awesome power.

As long as you do not notice any leaks, it is completely normal and you have nothing to worry about.

Hope this helps and let me know if you have any questions.

- Will
