Thanks. I left out that I do have the Steeda adj. panhard bar. But all stock control arms.

Easy. Get rid of the throttle body and get rid of the Boss Intake UNLESS you want to get a converter. That said a converter will make your car faster than all your mods you have now combined.

And then get a GOOD tune.

How about a lighter driveshaft? Maybe carbon fiber. Also c/f hood. And synthetic oil in the engine, tranny and differential? All that not to create more hp but to free up hp. Also lighter wheels.

Just out of curiosity, why would you want to get rid of the throttle body?

Waste of money and nothing more than a paper weight at his (and 95% of us) power level. And the driveability will never be as good as stock.

Wish I asked this before I bought mine. I just installed it and got a tune from Lund (previously had one from bama) and I love what it's done to the car. I don't know if that's just the tune or a combo of both though.

Obviously the tune. The throttle body was money you could have spent better somewhere else.

I'm not trying to. All I'm saying is so far I like the set up.

It's all good. I purchased LT'S and wanted the TB as the supporting mod. But my dad wouldn't let me put them on, so I kept the throttle body cause American muscle claimed the 10-15hp gain. Ill slap some LT'S on once the warranty is up.

Is there a n/a point where one should upgrade the throttle body?

I could be wrong but from what I've read, it's good supporting mod for longtube headers and aftermarket intake manifolds.

I'm confused. You added a throttle body and tuned the car but think longtubes is the breaking point for your warranty? Sorry to say but you pretty much already voided your warranty (drivetrain) when you tuned it.

If you're going with the Cobra Jet Intake then a throttle body is necessary. For the Boss Intake and specially the stock intake the stock throttle body is more than enough.

There's still a lot of old school thinking going on back to the fox body days where those cars needed a throttle body or steep gearing. Not the case with these cars.

The car is registered to my father. He was fine with me tuning it but didn't want me to "torque on the engine". His logic is all over the place but I'm in no hurry

The TB does help make up for some low end TQ loss with the Boss TB, but probably doesn't justify the cost of a brand new one. It does help with throttle response tho. As for drivability that's all on your tuner. The best mod would be a converter without a doubt.
