Long tube/ high flow cat

Hey guys, my current setup is '14 GT track pack, full suspension work, S Type catback, Steeda cai. I want to go long tubes for the hp gain but I do not want the high pitched, raspy, loud sound. I don't mind it but I have a baby and whiney neighbors. That being said, I'm looking at Stainless Works long tube headers and high flow catted x. If I use my Borla S Types with this setup, will it sound similar to what it sounds like with just catback s types or will it be exponentially louder? I want the performance with the least amount of added volume. Thanks for any help you can provide!

its going to be loud man, the tiny little hi flow cats do little in the way of muffling if thats what youre looking for, I have Pypes high flow cats with my long tubes and its a good bit louder at cold start than it was before, I have Kooks axle backs, which are one of the quieter mufflers available and I dont like starting my car up at 630am on a weekend, those Borlas are going to scream at cold start man

If you get the right kind of high flow cats, they will be bigger and more expensive. As far as dealing with the noise, add dynomat around the interior under the carpet and rear seats then let ur neighbors take the mustang for a spin, they will learn to enjoy the sound everytime u start it.

well there are limitations on just how big they can be with long tubes, my cats barely clear, so no, you can't fit bigger high flow cats under there with long tubes
