I traded a '12 GT/CS for a '14 GT with brembo brakes. The '12 had 8.5" wide rims. The '14 has 9" wide rims with the brembos. So unless you replace the oem rims on the GT/CS I don't think they will fit.

Yea, the GT/CS rims won't fit, that's why not of the CS Stangs have the optional Brembo brakes.

Don't limit your search to just brembo. Take a look at baer and wilwood they may have a lower profile caliper.

The spacer you would need is awfully thick, and personally I dont feel secure driving a car with spacers, especially on the front wheels. I just purchased a set of CS wheels with Blizzaks, strictly for the tires to use for winter, and I chose to swap the tires onto my front wheels while leaving the rears mounted on the CS wheels, while it looks retarded, It's only for the winter months.

You could have your rims widened or get longer studs and put spacers.

My personal choice on my gt/cs is new, lighter rims. A lighter rim will have less rotational mass, equating to quicker acceleration.

Vossen carries a very high price tag for the type of wheel. Cast wheels use a cheaper manufacture process. Next you get into flow formed and spun forged. Next would be forged. For what Vossen charges for a cast wheel you can easily be into some high end wheels with lighter weights and stronger costruction. Not that there wheels suck they just charge too much for the product. You should spend some time looking at the different construction processes and price range. Compare Forgestar to Vossen on overall build process and price and you will see what I'm getting at.

Hey Erik,

As some people have already stated, the stock GT/CS wheels will not clear Brembo calipers. Not the 4 piston (07-12 GT500 and 11-14 Brembo 5.0) or the 6 piston (13-14 GT500).

Your best bet would be to upgrade your wheels along with your brakes.

Luckily, we make it easy for you!

If you check out our site, listed on every wheel there will be a "fitment" tab which will list exactly what vehicle the wheels will fit.

If you are getting a set of take-off Brembos off of an 11-14 GT then you want to look for a wheel that will fit the 07-12 GT500 (both 4 piston Brembos). If they list to fit the Shelby, they will clear the brakes no problem!

Hope this helps and let me know if you have any questions!

-Will
