Boss 302 grill with oem gt foglights

Hello everyone, i have beem doing some research on this and cannot come up with a solution. I like the loom of the 12' boss 302s grille with the open fog light holes. I like my stock gt foglights but from what i read it is not easy to make them fit. Has anyone done this? I included a photo i saw online so you can see.

I have a similar question. I'm looking for a 2013/14 flat-bar type grille that keeps the fog lights uncovered in the upper grille. All I found was a lay-over kit at AM. ( Modern Billet Black Mustang Billet Grille 41297 (13-14 GT) - Free Shipping ).

I think they are interchangeable. I've seen photos of the Boss 302 grill with foglights and have read its a simple bolt on mod.

I have read that about the 13-14 model but nothing in regards to 11-12.

Here is mine, 2014 obviously and I swapped out the fogs to smoked raxioms. The only mod you have to make is to cut the tabs off that hold the fog light delete caps in. Again this is on the 13-14 but I can't imagine it's much different for the 12. Hope that helps.

With fogs off...

Not to take the thread to another topic, but I have a quick question. Where did you get the caps for the holes for your license plate bracket? I bought my car out of town and they already drilled the holes. Thanks

I actually got them at http://www.bumperplugs.com

They are a bit pricey. I believe it was like 29.99 and 5-6 bucks shipping. I did it because I wanted it to look professional. But basically it's just 2 Christmas trees painted and cleared. I would just get a can of touch up and clear and make my own if I had to do it over again. But they send you your exact paint coded plugs. You just have to drill out the holes you already have to open the hole up to the correct diameter. I hated that the car already had the holes. Damn state laws. The dealer had already mounted that monster plate bracket long before I bought it. One day I will fill and paint it when it needs it anyway from chips.

^love it. Now you just need to get the flip down plate bracket and ditch that plate whenever possible. I live in VA too and I know how the state troopers can be but I haven't been bothered about it yet. I rarely flip mine out.

Yeah man you're right I need to do that. I have the Roush lower grille delete kit too but I haven't got around to doing it yet.

Done a good bit of researching myself but, couldn't find anything either on how it was done on the Patriot BOSS. Only thing I found was the 12' BOSS or S grilles don't have mount tabs/screw mounts for fogs. So, it will have to be a 100% custom job to mount them and keep them in place.
