Hotchkis springs need adjustable lower control arms?

Are they a necessity for lowering springs? i dont want to run into any future problems so im trying to get everything necessary before installation.

My car is stock as of now, but i just purchased o/r X pipe with Borla touring AB's. Also bought and waiting for hotchkis springs with koni yellows struts with orange shocks. Still doing my research on tuner/tunes, leaning towards Lunds.

How much of a drop are those springs? Manual? Auto?

1.1" in the front and 1.6" in the rear. i have an auto.

IMHO, if you're going to lower the car, don't just get springs, get the whole works, such as an adjustable upper control arm, adjustable panhard bar, and lower control arm relocation brackets. Click image for larger version

i bought the J&M adjustable panhard bar, but i dont know if thats any better. No one really complained about it during my research.
