Getting all these next month.

Airaid Race CAI and BAMA X4 Tuner, Barton Industries Short Shifter and Bracket, AMR Charcoal Wheel - 20x10, Mickey Thompson Street Comp Tire - 255/35-20, Shifter Base Gasket - MT-82, GT500 Style Rear Spoiler - Pre-painted. That puts me at $2,763.88. Might try to cap it at $3,000.00 so I would like a suggestion on something else I can add. Also found out I might be getting a 10k bonus so I was thinking about supercharging it.

You should forget about the CAI and instead concentrate on LCA's, UCA, relocation bracket and adjustable panhard bar, that should take you to the $3k magic number.

Just don't forget about the tune.............that will really wake your car up!!!
I just took mine for a quick spin and the sound of the motor at 7k+rpm is just outstanding.

Well the tune was coming with the CAI and Tuner combo. That's why I was getting the combo.

Like I said, don't waste your money on a CAI, just get the tuner.

Good advice to leave the CAI off the list.

Getting all these next month.

Drop the tune/cai combo and put it towards suspension. Then get a tune from a quality tuner. Lund and AED seem to be the best choices for the m6.

Yeah I dropped the CAI. Just picked a tuner. But I need advice on the UCA, LCA, relocation bracket, and adjustable pandhard bar.

I can't say nice enough things about the Airaid Race CAI & Bama X4 Tuner Kit. They make a solid Cold Air Intake and they along with Bama have really been able to dial in the performance. If you're looking to embarrass some other mustangs on the street or quite simply scare yourself, this is the kit!

Here's a comparison of the standard and race version if you're wondering!

If I could trade my '08 tonight and pick up a Coyote the Barton Short Shifter and Two-Post would get installed literally on the dealers lot. My biggest pet peeve about the MT82 is that it's just trash. You shift with your shoulder and not your arm/wrist. This cuts down the travel so much you're going to think that you're driving a German car (Or something like that) It's a must. Their setups are praised up and down the threads and I've never heard of them having any issues as well!

On the Charcoal AMR's I'm really soft on these wheels and they're a personal favorite. (Maybe this is because they're on my car as we speak) My only complaint about them is cleaning them but the plus is that Charcoal hides dirt like you can't believe!

Did I mention they look right at home on a black GT?

The GT500 Spoiler is the perfect addition as well if you're looking to clean up the rear and this can honestly be installed by most people. If you're concerned about it though I would just check around locally and get a few estimates on the install!

That's a tough one and while we carry a load of Suspension Parts on site I would have to Shoot for the BMR UCA and BMR LCA's as well as their relocation brackets - I receive zero points and I'm non-commission based here for anything that's sold and from what I've personally felt ripping our fleet cars as well as employees cars the performance is that much better than some of the larger big name brands out there!

In regards to the PB - I would highly recommend the SR Performance Double Adjustable Panhard Bar - For the money you're honestly not going to find a better bar out there and it's definitely a must!!

Last but not least - Shoot me a PM so I can get you our MEVO Forums Discount Code so we can knock that total down!

Let me know if you're to have any other questions at all and I hope this helped!

Alex

I disagree. Adjustable LCA's should be left to the true hard core race guys only. If they're not set up properly things will really be screwed up. Kelly @ BMR will tell you the same thing.

You are if you're lowering the car. That's where an adjustable UCA comes into play. Has nothing to do with LCA.

If I go with Lund do they provide a tuner? Only reason I got the tuner is that I thought I needed one to upload the tune. If Lund provides one can you point me in the right direction?

I agree to disagree, if you change the pinion angle/U joint operating angle on the UCA and leave the LCA's the same length......aren't you putting the 3 link in a bind forcing the top of the housing either up or down with the stock length LCA's?
I guess I'm just looking for a reason behind putting the rear suspension in a bind and how that can be a good thing unless you are trying to pre-load the rear suspension for some reason.
I'd be happy to have Kelly at BMR explain any wisdom they have gained about this issue, or maybe they could right a small tech article that could be shared by everyone on the site.
Yes, I agree it does take a little work to get it right, no question there, but it's not rocket science, just a little persistence and attention to detail.............DIRTFT
When you lowered your car what was the pinion angle/U joint operating angle and how much did you have to adjust the UCA to get the desired angle on the pinion/U joint?

Yes it's adequate man. Just wait until you get the tuner. Then do all the stuff online and he sends it to you via email.

Every tuner will provide the device. You seem to be confused on this. The device is an SCT tuner that all the tuners out there will load their tunes on. It's not a "Bama" tuner but an SCT tuner they load their tunes on and throw a sticker on. Nothing more.

They can load THEIR tunes on an SCT tuner.

I'm pretty sure www.lethalperformance.com also sells Lund tunes. You can get the tuner/tune combo through them.

Just a thought, and if you are changing the fronts to 15' rotors, why not change the 11" stock to 14" GT500 rotors, you shouldn't have to change the caliper. I will be doing this before heading to the Silver States Classic in September.

Well that brake system comes as a full kit.
