You may be a little confused. Grabber was talking about flashing the ECU, not loading tunes onto the tuner.

But is this something to be concerned about as well? I'd imagine a PC with more logic than our cars' ECMs would be able to delete + write files instead of having to flash (overwrite) which would again cause hybrid tunes. I've just been using the same slots.

I don't think it really matters that much dropping temps 10 from stock 180.

Maybe I should start a new thread on this...

But some people say you should drill a 1/8" hole in the outer ring of the (stock) thermostat, so there is always SOME flow, even if the thermostat gets stuck/binded. Now this is coming from people who I run on road courses and we do 20-30 minute sessions with a lot of WOTs in there.

Obviously, this would be not be good in very cold climates as it would keep the engine from warming up quickly.

Either 180 or 190. I've seen conflicting reports.

My car always ran at 201 degrees give
Or take a little lower or higher. Now it stays around 183 degrees with the 170 thermostat.
