Front/rear wheel fitment

I'm looking in getting new wheels and tires soon and I wanted to know if 19x8.5 up front and 20x10 with 255/40/19 and 305/35/20 is a good setup.... Gloss black amrs with mickey street comps. Will I have trouble running 305s out back?

Personally I like wide tires also.
Is your car lowered and if so how much/who's springs.
Is your car just going to be a street car?
I would personally go with at least 19x9 in front if not 19x9.5, and if you are going wide why not go with 20x11 rears?
The most important thing is going with the right offset both front and rear..............there are guys running 265/275x40's up front and certainly 305's out back are ok...again with the right offset..............just depends on how low you are going to go...in 19" tires you are more limited than 18" or 20".

I would go 19x8.5 front and 20x10 back car is stock height (for now) most I plan to ever drop is 1.5 maybe 2 but doubtful because of area I live in. It is a daily driver and the reason for not 19x9.5 and 20x11 is because I can't find anything that's not expensive for me with those wheel sizes and I like how the gloss black AMRs look and their pricing is good. My car is white so with the gloss black I think it would look good. Its a 14 5.0 however if there's wheel around the same price that are wider I would be willing to get them. As long as there is no fitment issues lol

I just don't understand why he is wanting 19
Up front and 20 rear. You can get 20s in 8.5-9.5 im sure and 10-11

I like the way it looks better, I want a slight slant I don't know how to explain it. Shelby's come stock with 19s up front and 20s back

I was just wondering. I've personally never seen a reg gt have that. Not saying it's not been done but I've
Only seen shelbys with those.

Ok, since the AMR's are less expensive why not go with 20's in the front also. The wheels are only $10 more a wheel and the tires should be less than 19's, and as long as you get a good offset I think it would look better than going with the 19's in front and 20's in the rear..........just my opinion.

Unless your boss got some non-Ford wheels, the 15's with performance package come with 19x9" in front and 19x9.5" in the rear. 255's up front and 285's in back.

Shelby's had 19x9.5" in front and 20x9.5 in the rear. I like the look also and a lot of Shelby owners went with bigger tires for more grip and wider footprint.
Talking about slant or as we call it "rake", where the front is lower than the back. If you use lowering springs that will give you 1.5" drop in the rear and 1" drop in the front you will still maintain the factory rake. If you go with 2" drop in the rear you will get a level car without any rake.

I do too. No sense in it really just more
Complications. Different size wheels and tires.

U don't need two different wheel sizes to have the rake you want
