What comes on a track pack 2012 gt mustang? My car has the brembos and the factory strut tower brace but I'm not sure if it's a track pack or not.

No it's not. There was no Track Pack in 2012, just the Brembo Brake Package, which you have and contains most of the good stuff that later was renamed Track Pack, with a few additions like a Torsen diff, bigger rad, oil cooler....

Google "ford window sticker" and click on researchmaniacs website. Type in your VIN and you will get your original window sticker listing the options.

As others have said, the TrackPak only came on the 2013/14 GT's. I've got a 14. I have heard about a very late production 2012 having the same package, but have never seen any proof.
The real difference is that the 2011/12 could be ordered with with 3.73's, Brembo's, 19" wheels tires and Recaro's but they were all separate.
The TrackPak came with engine oil cooler off the Boss 302 and the radiator off the Boss302. It had special struts and springs (at least Ford says they are) recalculated traction control and the oil cap on the passengers side says refill with 5/50 synthetic oil.
Sounds like you've got a nice car............the TrackPak option reminds me a lot of my 97 SVT Cobra. In 2015 they now call this option the "Performance Package"...........

One of the gentlemen I instructed for has a track pack 2012 GT with Brembos, 3.73s, and the factory installed Torsen T2 (it's torque bias ratio is even lower than the one in the Boss).

Is my car a track pack or not?

I've also been told this color was not a 2012 color but it is the factory paint I was told it was sterling gray that was on the 2011 cars. At first I thought maybe it's an 11 but it says it's a 2012 when I look up the vin and it says it's a 12 on the stickers you see when you open the driver side door

The easiest way to tell the gear ratio is to look on the rear end cover under the car it usually will have a white sticker with ratio wrote on it.

There was no Track Pack in 2012, period. Nor was there an available Torsen diff option. You could buy the Torsen over the counter but, not factory equipped, unless you're some sort of industry insider. Is it absolutely impossible that someone could have worked something out, never say never but, what I describe is what was actually available at the dealer as offered choices. I ticked EVERY performance box on my 2012, if it was available, I'd have got it.

3.73 is axle code BB on the door tag. Rumour has it, it comes standard with the carbon clutches from the GT500.

Go to the website CHillnSA suggested and put your vin # in. This will give you a copy of options and when the car was built.

The only Torsen that came with clutches was the T-2R, and I know for a fact that these were never put into Shellby's, unless you are talking the SuperSnake...........then it was.

The Brembo 5.0 and 3.73 Torsen rear are part of the 2013 Track Pac as well as the other mods mentioned above. The Torsen rear is from the Boss and had a finned aluminun cover as well. Do not believe others had, but Ford keep adding things every year. Possibly could get these as options in 2012. Track Pac also had revised traction control and steering, Sport Modes. And no spare! Recaros were not part of Track Pac, they also were optional.

I thought all 13/14's had the different modes of steering, std, xxx, and xxx. I could go out in mine a look, but other than the std. mode they just don't feel right..........especially at speeds over 130.

You may be right about sport steering mode. Been a while since I got my 2013. It was advertised as revised traction control though.

I just said it didn't have a Torsen option in 2012. The standard plate style Trak Lok was supposed to have carbon clutches on the 3.73.

Here's some examples: There's a SG 12 just a little down the first page:

Calling all SGM Mustangs! - The Mustang Source - Ford Mustang Forums

Now sometimes the colours will vary a little year to year, like the slight differences in Red Candy between 12 and 13.

People will tell you all kinds of **** to make the commonplace uncommon, to pump up their ego or to sell you something. My buddy told me his 1988 LX 5.0 was factory ordered with 1.7 Cobra roller rockers back in the day. This was, of course, shortly after I'd put Cobra rollers on my pedestrian 1988 LX Mustang...

Looks like the Torsen diff only came on the 2012 Boss Leguna Seca, accordingly to Ford brochure. And as was said the 3.73 was also offered on 2012, but with Trak Loc diff. So Brembo Brake Package was offered with the 19in special wheels we now refer to as Track Package Wheels.

I can confirm as an owner and operator of a T2R car, that the T2R no longer has the pre-load clutches. Also, the 2012 with the factory installed Torsen is owned by an engineer at Koni.

When did you install the T2R in your Mustang?

The build date on mine was 3/2014, and it was installed in 4/2014. It is a bit growly when going into a parking space.
