New wheels

So I have a 2014 GTCS in deep impact blue. I am thinking of getting the MMD matte black 551C rim and tire staggered set up from American Muscle in 20x8.5/10 on Mickie Thompsons. Any input on these? I didn't see any pics with this set up on the website. Any one know how these ride? Is it gonna be an issue when I try to lower the car in the future? Thanks

Just my opinion... I also have a deep impact blue one. I don't think matte black or anything gray look good against the dib.

Hey Augusto -

I think you're going to love the MMD 551'C's They're definitely easy on the eyes! make sure to post up some pictures here or make a thread once you have them put on your car!

let me know if there's anything I can help out with in the meantime and enjoy your new wheels!

I just love the Blue and car looks great also.
When I first saw the picture it looked like the front tires/wheels were bigger than the rear..........you haven't turn the Mustang into a front wheel drive because of the weather back there have you

Hahaha i probably should! Unfortunately this isnt a staggered setup. The front rims are so close to the caliper its insane !!!

With the stock TrakPak wheels, the spokes were 0.050" from the Brembo caliper. That is close!

In my opinion, there just isn't enough "rim" on the MMDs. It'd look decent on the front with a Brembo package car since the rotor will eat up some of the empty space, but the rear tires are still a bit too "see through" for me.

Easy fix on the rears, just put some 14" rotors back there. You can buy an adapter so you don't even have to pull the axles, use the 13/14 GT500 rotors without doing any other mods.........then they will pretty much be not "see through".

Thanks man! I actually picked them up used with about 2000 miles on them for 850 with tires! I got a steal

Can anyone show me to a link with where I could get caliper covers for the front and/or rear? I think that would set it off. Especially now you can see the red LCAs in the back!
