Do they make rear strut tower braces for 2012 Mustang GT's ?

I realize this is a newbie question, but when I was modding a Dodge Neon SRT-4, the rear strut tower braces were more important than the front. I haven't seen any for the Mustang.

The question is do they help even a little? I have installed many and noticed no difference at all.

You'll notice at least the front strut tower brace if you're aggressively driving around turns. No flex. But if you're just putting around town, no you're not going to feel much of a difference. I saw that rear SR shock tower brace, mehhhh, don't think it would be worth it.

Yes, check out www.americanmuscle.com. They have quite a few to choose from. And I agree with 2014oxstang, you won't notice a difference just putting around, only if you're really digging into your corners. As an owner of one though, it sure looks nice under there

Here is a nice option from Steeda ... you will definitely notice a difference:

Steeda 2005-14 Mustang Rear Chassis X-Brace - Made in USA 555-5093 - Free Shipping!

I can't believe how much this tightened everything up in the back of the car. It made a bigger difference than upgrading my rear sway bar. The back is firmly planted and steady in the corners. It even eliminated much of the clunks when driving over steep parking lot entrances.
The install took 2 hours only because getting the nuts on the bolts in the limited space is tricking if you have small fat hands. I didn't have to use a jack as the brace slide right over the shocks without any problem.

I can't think of a better upgrade to your suspension for the price. - See more at: Steeda 2005-14 Mustang Rear Chassis X-Brace - Made in USA 555-5093 - Free Shipping!
We also have this:

Steeda 2005-14 Mustang Rear Shock Tower Brace - Made in USA 555-5750 - Free Shipping!

Best Regards.

I might be wrong but I thought the "rule" was front strut bar and rear sway bar were the ones that help the most.

Thanks for the interesting response ... This reminds of the brace in the Boss 302 Laguna Seca cars. What exactly does this bolt to ?

You can check out the instructions here:

Little bit of modification ... but nothing crazy.

You can't go wrong with the Steeda x-brace if you Road race or autocross. I've been using one for quite a while now and it really stiffens the rear up. You only notice it in hard turns where G forces are high. Click image for larger version
