For those of you with Flowmaster Outlaw Catback

I'm trying to decide on a catback for my 2014 GT. I have done a lot of research and when I read about the outlaws, all I hear about is the drone. I'm trying to find out more about the x-pipe that comes with the package. From what I can tell, it's not a full x-pipe. My question is about it's fitment to the stock manifolds and what is needed. Some companies offer a cat removal midpipe in the range of $150. Is that what is needed? Any suggestions would be helpful. I'm trying to do an off-road cat less mid pipe with a good catback system. I know it's going to be loud. I'm not concerned about that.

I just put on a offroad x pipe with stock axle back. The axle back has been modified a little with muffler bypass holes. Actually a little quieter down low compared to h. At wot it screams. I really see no reason to ever change the headers on these cars. Guys are running 9's with stock headers and resonators.

Hardware for bolting on midpipe is (4) 1.5 inch 10mm bolts, washers, lock washers, nuts. To answer your ? OP.

Not exactly. I was wondering what exhaust piping is needed to connect the flowmaster outlaw catback to the stock manifolds. By looking at the picture of the system, it appears it is missing a section of piping to connect to the manifolds.

Im sure the kit bolts up the factory ball and socket connectors right before the cats. Simple.

What was shared with me by American Muscle is the system replaces the stock h-pipe and bolts up to the factory catalytic converts. I asked if there is an aftermarket pipe that will fit from the outlaw xpipe to the factory manifolds to replace the oem cats and they said no.

It is not a true x pipe - the pipes are welded together to look like an x. I had the cb kit on my car, and the fit and quality were terrible. Plus, 409 stainless will rust.
