Yeah I really wanted to dot the I's and cross the T's here with this build. The Oil pump gears were the very time consuming portion of the entire process because basically every component up front had to come off right down to the timing chains, which can be a daunting task for some. But as long as you follow precise directions, and take your time, shouldn't run into any issues. I tried to be as specific as I could throughout my journey here as to help anyone going through the same process. The 2005-2014 Haines manual for the mustang helped immensely with torque specs and very specific directions and input. I suggest anyone who's going to tinker and tear into their mustang, definitely get one.

I live in New England so there is an over abundance of Subaru's and 4wd vehicles in these parts. It's nice to have a vehicle that isn't super super popular at least where I'm at. Out of all my friends, I only have one other that has a mustang, and his is a 2015 competition orange Hellion TT Mustang GT pushing 800+ lol. But I do wish there were more mustangs around.

Thank you for the kind words man, I look forward to see what you do with yours.

I just recently did my WOT pull from 2500-5k in second without TC/advanced trac off as advised.....scary. Tires broke loose with ease but suspension and a firm grasp on the wheel kept it straight. 5 psi spike. Getting closer to ironing the tune out.

No videos as of yet. I have my buddy with me during the datalogging phase so he can start and stop the logging while I can concentrate on the road lol.

1000 apologies for the crap pics. New plate kit from AM is on. Had to rig it up a bit with some washers as its not designed for the roush splitter. Hangs low, but I'd rather it there than drilled into my bumper 😁

That was the same issue I had with mine and I finally decided it wasn't worth re mounting after the roush splitter was on. It was always hitting and scraping prior to that also. You seriously need to be careful bro. Get it caught on something and it could really mess something up like your intercooler or bumper.

Trust me brother, I didn't want to put the thing on but I don't really have an option living in MA. The fuzz is hardcore when it comes to that crap. I'll probably keep it down until I actually get pulled over and say "oops, sorry officer, just came from a car meet, don't mind the blood."

Here's a few better quality pics. Just going to have to be cognizant, and very careful of my surroundings.

Here's what I thought to be a cool shot. Small update. Been datalogging and did a WOT pull to about 7500 per order of Lund. Car pulled great, everything seemed ok, but there were a few counts of knock. Lund said it could be bad gas, or it could be exhaust rattling as the knock sensors on these motors are touchy. Going to fill up with new Sunoco 93, tighten up the exhaust, and get back to datalogging. Lund is 99.9% it's false knock. Apparently this is very common. Let's hope.

Eric's 2014 Mustang GT build thread

Car is dialed in and running like a freight train. Next on the list was brakes. Carl (Oxford5pointoh) just happened to be selling his gorgeously powder coated brembos, with rotors/pads/lines and dust shields and I could not pass them up. Thanks again brother. Great guy, and great seller. I have to pick up some brake fluid and pop these babies on.

Me neither man, I think the contrast will be great aesthetically. And like I keep saying, ANYTHING has to be better than the base brakes lol. Can't get over the quality of the powder coat!

Haven't been posting much. Quick few updates. Went to the track last Wednesday. I need DR's bad lol. 12.4@122 lol. Couldn't get out of the hole to save my life. I also picked up some brembos, and some coil pack covers from Carl (the artist formerly known as Oxford5pointoh)

Are you planning on changing the wheels or changing the color of the wheels? The brembos don't look too good behind that color combo wheel

No, not as of right now. Pictures don't really do the combo justice. They look a lot better in person.

Overall pretty happy with that for essentially just slapping on the supercharger and calling it a day

So I did a thing yesterday. Beefcake racing is having a 2 day only sale. Yesterday, and I believe the 23rd as well on McLeod products. I ended up grabbing an RST twin disk, a billet steel flywheel, and a hydraulic clutch line all for about 870$. The twin disk alone is 750$ regularly. My stock clutch is roasted due to the supercharger. Anyone with substantial power over stock, get on this!
