As of right now, not really sure what route I'm going to take with an exhaust. Gotta figure out my inspection situation to see if I have a connection or if I'm going to have to rip of the exhaust every April. If that's the case, I'll probably go catless.

Haha. I know man. If I had the money for the whole kit I'd have it on my car as well.

Yessir. It really adds a subtle flare to the car without doing too much yanno? I'm not much of a flashy body kit guy, so this is perfect.

Thanks for the praise bros. Jicenroa, yeah I was going for a different look with the rear. Big toss up between leaving the RTR decklid how it was, and painting it Oxford. Very happy with the decision. Leaving it black left something to the imagination. Didn't quite look like an upgrade or a modification.

I believe American Muscle and BBR still are receiving them, but I'm sure there's a wait, and I'm not sure how long. And thanks again brother, I true to do something special with it. It looked kinda blah with the stock bumper. So I had to add the boss diffuser. You agree?

Yeah it really wasn't bad. Just some snips and a grinder to smooth everything out.

Eric's 2014 Mustang GT build thread

Welp, just pulled the trigger on the 3D carbon GT500 style wing. Unpainted because my body guy will do it for a lot less than the pre painted piece, and I'll get a full detail at the body shop lol. Pumped.

Nice man, I'm glad I went with white also. I added the roush side and rear pieces to mine and it made a big difference. Matches my front CS splitter.

That's pretty good. I haven't asked around yet. I just picked up a used one on eBay that's GHIG, I might toss it on for fun to see how it looks on the old ox. I don't want to look ricey though. I might do my own paint job on it as I once did this type of work. I just don't have a booth or spray guns anymore. I bet I could get a decent finish with a rattle can and lots of color sanding and buffing.

That may look really cool. I've been thinking of doing some monster/lime green accents on the car. And yeah it can definitely be done. Especially on something as small as a wing. I have a buddy who does his own paint work. And while it's not flawless, it's good for what it is.

Yeah I might slap it on and see how I like it. Worst case, I don't and I will just get it painted. I had also been trying to figure out a good accent color. I do like the GHIG. I will shoot a pic once I do it

Yeah definitely I'd like to see it. The wing is coming in today, I'll probably drop it off tomorrow for paint.

Since you went with a white decklid, have you considered white tail light bezels?

Might be too much... just a thought.

Ehhhh I actually did think about the bezels, but I'm just not too fond of them. I think at that point it would definitely be too much white lol.

I ended up taking mine to get painted after I got it because the paint was not up to par. I think it's going to work out for me better this way. I wasn't feeling the GHIG once I set it on the car. It's not as deep as I'd have liked it to be. I think I would have rocked it a little if the paint hadn't been all messed up.

Anxious to see how yours looks! Maybe as much as you. Lol. Guy painting mine didn't really give me a date but I also told him I'd pay him cash so he could do it as a side job. Maybe he will get it done before Friday to have some beer money!
