So, upon test fitting my wheels, I've seem to have run into an issue. Room! Lol. With the offset +35 out back, the tire will be awfully close to the shock, preventing me from going with a wider (275ish +). I thought there would be plenty of room under there for some rubber, but I guess not. Total wheel/tire noob so excuse me lol. A buddy of mine said I'd need to run some spacers out back if I want to fit a substantially wide tire out back. Anyone have some input or helpful suggestions? I didn't really want to go the spacer route, but I hear if I get hub-centric spacers I should be ok.

Ended up going with a very basic toyo proxes 4 plus 245 front 275 rear staggered set up. Came out pretty good fitment wise.

So did you end up getting spacers or did they fit in the rear? Looks nasty

It fit pretty damn near perfectly with no spacers. If anything the front could use 5mm or so, but for now, I'm pretty pleased with the look. Thanks for the kind words Oxford

Lol I'm not too photographically-savvy so I have no idea what the heck that means, but the pics I posted were a bit filtered from Instagram already.

Higher res pics as in larger than 150x150 pixels.

The raw photos taken from the camera app will be MUCH larger in size.

I went ahead and pinned them anyway.

https://www.pinterest.com/k1dblitz/stangs-thangs/

The best way to describe Pinterest is....kinda like an online scrapbook. I also use it as a "visual" wishlist/build list of sorts.

And then of course, there's the funny stuff... gotta have the funny stuff! https://www.pinterest.com/k1dblitz/funny-stuff/

Lol thanks a lot brother. Took a few more today focusing more on the fitment, which is pretty spot on. Very pleased.

Lol it does. Was able to get all the crap off. It absolutely does. Pictures do it absolutely no justice whatsoever. I'll admit I more than anyone else was skeptical on how the wheel set up would look, but it gives it such an aggressive stance. My GF is a photographer and I'll get some professional shots done soon. Thanks a lot for the kind words bro.

I want to do some go fast mods now, but I'm having trouble deciding in which direction I'd like to go initially. I've got my eyes on a drive shaft, finishing the exhaust, getting a tuner, etc. Anyone have any suggestions in going further, what to buy, what's a waste, any info will be helpful to me.

You have axle backs already I think I remember seeing that. What else are you thinking? X-pipe? You staying catted?

Yeah ox, I'd prefer to stay catted strictly for inspection purposes. That is unless it's easy peasy these days to pass without cats. I was surprised I passed this past March with a muffler delete to be honest. I guess I'm just looking for suggestions as to where to go now lol. I went completely catless on my 04' 2V but I know things aren't what they used to be and the pcm's on these mustangs are much more intricate.

Well with muffler deletes you prob don't want to do much else to the exhaust unless you get some sort of muffler set up. When it comes to exhaust in these cars you really have to figure out what you want "end game" and build it accordingly. As I'm sure you've seen others who got roush mufflers then later go off road and have to get different mufflers to accommodate their needs.

Seems like "power adders" on these cars are go big or go home. Like either commit and go FI or nitrous. Maybe nitrous and a tune would be the way to go in your case? Cost effective and their when you want it?

That's what I heard. I have the MRT KR's and they're substantially loud on their own. I eventually want to do a full beef cake racing vortech V3 kit, but in the mean time and in between time, I wanted to put on some useful bolt on's. I just don't know what, and in which order lol. And I couldn't agree with you more on the "go big or go home" type deal with these cars when it comes to performance modifications, hence why I'm asking which route to take before I take that plunge into FI.
