IG @Oxford5pointoh

I honestly would not care about being loud/drone, my main concern is passing inspection. My old 2V was catless/muffler deletes, loud as heck, but I loved it. I changed out the exhaust every inspection. Not looking to do that this time around lol

So, today after work I installed my drive shaft, Stiffler's drive shaft safety loop, and my adjustable BMR UCA. I attempted to install my BMR carrier/differential bushing, but couldn't remove the bushing because the bolt provided by maximum motor sports was not long enough. In fact the kit was labeled 95-04 so it's not even for the 3 link, but should work with a longer bolt. I was tired from the DS and UCA, so that sumb*tch will have to wait for another today lol. Here are a few pics...

First impression of the DS, is that it is a quality piece and constructed very well. Not a real noticeable gain in acceleration, but I wasn't really expecting one. Huge weight difference from stock, and rid myself of that crappy 2 piece design. Happy with the outcome and will have peace of mind when the bigger power mods come

I was starting to wonder if your car was ever going to get the shaft or not ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Looks good! I'm kinda disappointed you say you can't really feel a difference though

IG @Oxford5pointoh

Lol so was I haha. Finally found some time and a helping hand yesterday. And yeah, I was a bit disappointed as well. There's a slightly stronger pull WOT but it seems like it comes on higher in the RPM's and it could be all in my head lol. But hey, it sure does look sweet under there right? ๐Ÿ˜• haha

Ok, so maybe I just didn't get on it enough during the city driving I did after install of the drive shaft....I did a couple of pulls on the highway last night and I could feel a substantial stronger pull especially in the lower gears/RPM range when I stretched them out. So it's not just a pretty paperweight lol. Quite happy with the purchase.

Installing this carrier/differential bushing from BMR made me want to kill babies. I hacked, burned, and hammered my way through this install over a span of 2 nights because it aggravated the piss out of me. Hopefully it'll be worth it lol.

Probably would have been easier to just drop the differential completely out of the car. Get the rust off, hit it with some paint, put the bushing in. Lol. I have been wanting to do that with mine

Probably, but why would I want to make things easier on myself? I love taking the hard road! Lol. Getting the old rubber bushing out was the hardest part. The rest was smooth sailing after a bit of drilling and torching. Then of course lubing everything up. Took the car for a rip and she goes good. Nice and straight, everything's tight and precise. Even seems to handle a bit better around hard turns.

So, this happened today. I'm on the right.

First 2 runs were pretty mint a 12.9 and this 12.77, but still an average 60 ft. The rest of the 3 runs were all low 13's because I was having traction issues with the Toyo's. I feel like the car has mid 12's in it, just couldn't do it today. And Lebanon Valley Dragway isn't the best prepped track around. Unfortunately it's the closest one to me lol. Oh well, we'll get em next time.

I did gain about 4 mph though from my last run last year. I added tires, a DS, and a differential bushing.
