Big price difference

Was checking out some pricing for the gt500 quad exhausts for my 2014 gt and also the gt500 valence.

Am sells the exhaust alone for 1,000 and the valence for 249 something.

Late model sells the two together for ~800.

Am I missing something here?

some of the prices at AM are not the lowest, always shop around. their prices for borla ataks were laughable, so i got them elsewhere.

I was looking at the same thing because I want the rear valance but it wouldn't look right without the quad tip exhaust. AM wanted way to much.

I wonder if AM will price match the combo. If not I'll order from LMR.

I just ordered mine from late model restoration because it was cheaper all around because they don't charge you $75.00 for freight shipping if you don't have a loading dock. Plus the my military discount was tacked on. Also I'll have it sooner because I'm in colorado compared to AM which is in PA.

Check around as you can get quality stainless ones for $250 range shipped through UPR or On3.

Google Tousley Ford which I think is now Bear Lake Ford. I bought my quad GT500 and valance set up from them....Cheapest I've been able to find.

I negotiated a Jobber discount with my local Ford dealer. Got the OE valance for $173 and the mufflers for $319 each and didn't pay any freight....total was $818.
I support my local business if I can.
Try CJPony, they have a $799 package deal and freight is paid. It does pay to shop around for the best deal.

Yes they do. Add something that uses freight shipping and you will see where it ask if you have a loading dock.

Maybe AM doesn't stock this since it's a FRPP piece, meaning they would have to drop-ship it from the FRPP warehouse?

Hey Guys,

Sorry about this but we'll have parts sold as low as possible as long as Ford Racing is alright with us doing so - We "do" price match to other competirors and even though if you're not seeing something listed elsewhere for less we do have a MEVO discount code as well.

In regards to the shipping - We ship for free on roughly 99% of our parts however if you're buying a full rear end Ford Racing needs to know this - Something like a hood or a body kit can get shipped right to a body shop (As long as it's a business it's free of charge)

Let me know if I've missed anything here and If there's anything I can help out with please don't hesitate to shoot me a PM - I'm not commission based here nor is anyone else in this building but I'll work to get you the best pricing possible!

Alex

It only makes business sense. The 14 and later parts from FRPP will start drying up now that the 15 is here.
Use some of your tax return money to buy parts and stick them away for a rainy day. In some cases even better than playing the stock market.

Well, I lost out on the Boss 302 Side Exhaust, so I'm glad I got the Cobra Jet cams. I doubt the CJ Intake Manifold will dry up anytime soon.

Yep just the mufflers and valance. LMR doesn't charge a freight fee so I went with them. Plus it will be here in two days with standard shipping on top of being cheaper before my military discount.

Just a note to everyone. The muffler on the KIT on late is not the same as the gt500 sport muffler. The one on the kit is the oem one and the sport muffler is ford racing's "upgraded" product.

Yeah it's like 15 degrees. And yeah, to each their own. GT500 set up is becoming very popular, albeit it is very sweet looking.

I am totally surprised how good it actually looks. What mufflers do you have?
Maybe I shouldn't have bought my 17F828 GT500 valance with 5230M mufflers. It does look really good!
Thanks for making me have second thoughts..................

Lol I'm sorry bud. I don't have mufflers. It's just an MRT KR axle back muffler delete. The tips are extremely high quality. Very happy with them.
