Tires

Hey guys, I'm looking for a good tire to put on the rear of my stang. I currently have Perelli Pzero 255/45R19's on my Brembo rims... I'm looking to keep these rims and just upgrade my rear tires for now as my fronts are pretty well brand new. Any suggestions on a good sticky tire that's good for the street and drags? Also what's the widest I can fit on these rims, they are 9 inches wide. Thanks!

I almost went with the Michelin Pilot A/S 3's. But after a lot of research, I went with the Hankook Ventus S1 Nobel 2's. They are very close to the performance of the Michelin tires and actually according to TireRack they beat Michelin in a few categories like ride comfort and noise comfort. The best part is that although not cheap, they don't cost as much as the Michelin tires. They hook well and look great. I am very happy with them. Check them out!

Tires

Not sure where you live. But don't do A/S all season tires on your car if you don't have to cause of cold conditions. I also have a m6 car with 3:73's, tune, s types, etc but with A/S tires right now. this thing is halfway dangerous through the first 3 gears. You already have high performance summer tires on yours. Make sure you move forward not backward with a new tire for the traction your looking for.

Performance plus tires website is having a special on their mickey thompson comps . I have the same brembo track pack as you and bought those from them recently. 155 per , which i believe is a great deal and also good choice for a summer tire.

I run 315/35 toyo r888s and they are excellent for traction at over 600rwhp. They aren't the greatest for wet weather, but no sticky dry weather tire is.

I was looking into those however I've heard they are really loud to drive on... I've heard it hums almost like a wheel bearing that needs to be replaced..? Is this true?! How do you find the noise from them
