Quad Exhaust

I plan on purchasing the GT500 quad exhaust and rear valance at my local Ford dealership. I also plan on getting it installed there. The price they gave me for the quads and the valance was 789.99$ which is a lot higher than what I've seen online. I plan on negotiating the price. What would be a good price for the combo and what would be a good argument to get a lower price? Could I get a discount since I'm also installing it at the dealership?

I'm also doing some of my mods at the dealer since I'm getting all FRPP parts. The total of the parts are a bit higher then online prices but they seem to cut the labor costs a whole lot more since you are getting it from them. A lot of people say don't trust the dealership when it comes to your car, but I have a good friend that works at the dealership that I go to which puts a lot peace of mind when it comes to working on my car.

From other threads on here I have heard that 319 per muffler and 180ish for the valance is about the best deal on these parts new. So if they will sell you the parts and install it in the 700 range your doing pretty good man.

$790 for just the parts, not the installation

That's spot on actually. I would sell you my 2014 gt500 exhaust for 400 plus shipping. I'm getting a new exhaust in the next week. That would help you save a good bit.

How did it go? Pretty straight forward? I just picked up the StangMods 4in Quad exhaust and GT500 rear valence. Going to wait until the Winter apocalypse is done here in MI to install.

I think it's free shipping as well. I plan on ordering from them or giving AM a chance to price match.
Install should be pretty easy, just have to stomach cutting your existing fascia.

Good luck, man. I can't wait to do mine, but unfortunately I have to for now lol

Sorry bro!
Maybe they can do a price adjustment for ya - I doubt it, but maybe worth a try?

Looks awesome though, no matter what you paid for it.

Awesome. I've been back and forth between different exhausts, but I think this is the route I'm going too.

I also looked at so many exhausts. Some of them were to loud or would drone in the highway. For a moment I wanted the California Special rear valance and some random exhaust, but I realized it was just a better plan to go with the GT500 mufflers. If I planned on doing so much work, I would rather have the quad tips. They sound great, look great and have no drone. I highly recommend.

Yeah, I think the car looks so much better with the quads - should have came that way. Most quad mufflers are way overpriced, but that combo with the valence is a steal. I like the sound of the GT500's too, can't go wrong with them. I'll probably do resonator deletes to open it up a lil more though.

Congrats man, enjoy em.

Install is pretty easy. Takes some time and you need a good cutting tool to trim your rear bumper. There is already a line to follow tho so it is no biggie.
I installed these OEM GT500 mufflers that I had modified to fit the 3" Magnaflow over axle pipes.

Dammit UPS!!!!

My quad exhaust and valence were due today, but "a late UPS trailer has caused a delay".....ugh

I've been working 12 hrs a day for the past 7 and this was my first day off - I planned on spending some quality time doing surgery on "Lucinda's" behind lol

Good news is tracking info shows it should be here tomorrow.
Guess the Dremel will stay in the case one more night...

Love your build, TommyV. Car looks great. What'd you do with your lower valence reflectors? They tinted or did you delete them? They don't show in your photo.

Mine have been sitting in the garage long enough, next week they are going on along with the OE GT500 spoiler.

Just a side note, a friend wanted the valance/twin tips for his 2013 and I started looking around for a little better price than I paid at my local Ford dealer...........this is what he got them for

EXHAUST KIT QUAD TIP MGT 2013-14

and that was price was shipped to his door. The exact same thing as mine.

Thanks, when I blacked out the oem valance, I just sprayed over them. They don't come with the kit and I had to use mine.

I just taped it off, primered it, and used flat black paint.

That looks awesome TommyV, sometimes the little things like that can really tie the car together. Once the weather warms up I will post up pictures of mine, I went with the stangmods quad tips. Cannot wait to get them on!
