What was the temperature the time of the run? D/A? Those two things play an important roll in your times.

You mentioned going catless early on. I said you can do 11s as it sits, without any further, using as an exemplar my own car doing it with only axlebacks for exhaust mods.

If you're doing 11s with just axlebacks then you have a 1 of a kind factory freak

Just looked it up. 58 degrees at 1100 feet elevation. da was 1524

@grabber12 that's not a bad run at all considering ur on stock convertor. When I was on stock convertor and drags I'd at best 60ft 1.8-1.9 it was the same on stock pirelli. I'm also mike rousch tuned biggest difference for me was convertor and most recently e85. Best et at fontana was 11.91@114.53 on 91. And 11.68@116.23 on e85 nt05r 275 40 17 plus supporting mods.

Not bad for my preference. I only dd it in the spring fall summer tho. Ppl also leave out little things here and there on the Internet too when they say "only exhaust". I could see a manual car with full exhaust and slicks and a tune low 12's on a very aggressive launch and driver mod. Local guy went 11'50 on off road X-pipe, axle backs and e85 aed tune on a track pack car but that things a freak. I'd say ur times are in the "norm" tho. I will say the converter made the biggest difference.

You ain't doing the reading too good, sorry.

I have the mods listed in my sig. The only power mod is a 91 octane Ford Racing canned tune. I focussed on sticking the power to the track with a small slick tire and some mild poly LCAs and a rubber Roush upper.

There are lots of people who've stuck these cars in the 11s on very little tweaking. No weight reduction, nothing (e.g. I have a fully loaded BBP car).

^^^ Lol. It helps to be able to side step the clutch at 5500 rpms on a drag slick. Guy's have run 11.9's on completely stock 6 speed manuals doing the above.

Amen, brother....I tried clutch dump launches up to 6000. 4500 turned out to be the sweet spot.
