Smashed resonator

I ran over the mother of all speed bumps today and ended up putting a pretty good sized dent in one of my resonators on my mid pipe .Is this something that I'll need to replace . The only thing that concerns me is unequal exhaust flow . Not sure if that can screw anything up.

Although I think they sell resonators that come perfectly rounded .. Not sure why they make them like the ones shown above

I thought previous owner dented mine too at first since its on one side only. But saw a GT500 i believe on its side for show and saw same thing, and it was on the side facing up of my other one once I got them removed. No clue why its there because im pretty sure the inside is completely round

They both are dented from factory. The passenger side is dented on the top of the resonator

Ya driver side is dented on the bottom , not sure why but oh well. I've thought about removing mine but I already have muffler deletes and it sounds pretty mean . Anyone think that would sound like crap or be overly obnoxious with an off-road h or x combined with muffler deletes ?

It will be loud and raspy but some people like it. YouTube it there are lots of exhaust setups there and can give you an idea.

I have stock exhaust but with both muffler and res delete. From just these removed I love the sound, and others that have heard it like it. When I upgrade my exhaust down the road I will be going offroad and also the muff and res deletes still except 3". With my current setup the car can be heard from over a mile and a half away. And you can also make good assumptions on how its being driven: my dad drove to show me how loud, 1.6 miles away he got on highway and we heard him all the way up the ramp, and we could tell he passed people because a few seconds after it quieted down it roared again. I will say I almost got in trouble going through curves marked 35 and i stomped it and a cop had just pulled out from where he was sitting and I came up and he started to pull back over but i stayed behind him after that and drove like a granny behind him. Sounds great but just have to watch out

Smashed resonator

I think it is, some may say it has no tone or crap like that, but it definitely sounds badass. I dont have any video clips(plus my phone is the best thing i have to take video/sound with and car is up for winter) and video clips dont really do it justice
Oh, cruising at 75 you can also have a normal conversation with no trouble

Yea its not bad at all, I thought it would have been pretty loud at highway speeds but nope. Like I said 75 at normal talking isnt an issue, just a tiny bit of background noise. I would say my dads v10 F250 with stock exhaust is louder in the cabin on the highway. My gf hasnt even complained about noise at highway speeds, although she thinks its too noisy any other time lol but shes coming around. No one thats been in the car has complained about drone, and I know about drone after having a 99 GTP that would make you deaf after 10minutes(previous owners fault not me lol)

Are you sure that the car you saw was a GT500 because I have a set of OTA pipes off of a 2013 GT500 and it didn't have resonators from the factory.
