That sounds like what mine looked like when I bought my pair from a guy on Facebook. He just threw them in a box. Box made it surprisingly but the top of the struts had poked holes through the box. Glad I got rid of those and bought different ones.

I took a bunch of pictures with the UPS truck in the background. Hopefully that helps my case.

AM will help. I do wonder sometimes about their loss ratio and if it would be worth it to improve their packaging or if they save enough that their losses (which is what they are) are covered. But ya can be assured AM will make it right.

Hey Guys,

Thank you so much for having the time to post this up.

It seems as is these were on sale for last month and the sale ended! I will definitely look into that to make sure that is the case.

In the meantime, whoever was looking at picking these up for the sale price, I could never leave you hanging!

Shoot me over a PM and I will have the price matched and the products shipped ASAP!

Hope this helps and let me know if you have any questions.

Hey paint,

I'm really sorry to hear about the trouble but I am definitely going to get you taken care of here!

Shoot me over a PM with your order #, and shirt/hoodie size.

I will have your new order picked, packaged (with extra packaging) shipped out with expedited shipping and some free goodies for the trouble!

Hope this helps and I'm looking forward to hearing from you!

Hey Paint,

Thank you for the PM, I appreciate it!

I just got back from the warehouse for you and I think I got you all taken care of!

I wanted to make sure that your new shocks and struts (which I already setup a return for) will get to you in one piece so I packed and shipped them personally.

First things first, I found them!

From there, I popped open each package and inspected them to make sure they are perfect!

Once I inspected them and made sure everything was good, I packed everyone individually with bubble wrap and tape. These things will survive a Tornado!

And to top it off, since one of them from the original shipment is still missing on your end, I found the biggest box in the warehouse, loaded it with bubble wrap, and packaged all 4 shocks/struts into the box. Now it definitely can't get lost!

These have been shipped and are on the way to you. You should be getting them tomorrow and I know you'll be happy with them!

I hope this helps and please feel free to reach out if you have any questions.

P.S- Don't mind my salt covered Nike Sneakers- The Winter is killing us here in PA!

So what do I do about the missing one? I put all 4 boxes back into one larger box to send back to you (including the 4th empty box). Should I have kept this box?

Edit: I called UPS and they told me to hang onto it so I removed it from the box I was sending the rest of the stuff back in.

On a related topic; Are people using caster/camber plates on these? Sounds like overkill to me but I'm getting differing opinions. Will camber bolts be good enough???

Never use the bolts if you can avoid it is my opinion. Using the bolts is a Band-Aid type solution while the CC plates is like actually suturing the wound!
They work, BUT if they fail it's a much bigger problem.

So I just got home and can upload some of the pictures. Just so everyone knows, Will has been super helpful in this whole process. AM issued a call tag label and my 3 shocks that I did get are on their way back (should be there tomorrow). My only remaining concern is the "lost" shock. The last thing UPS told me was that AM had to issue a lost package/damaged package claim because they couldn't find it in their truck. We'll see how that goes.

Picture 1: Got the UPS driver in the background. LOL

If they are still honoring it then I'll buy asap!

Do they work well with ford k springs? What strut mount should I get? Do I get 11-14 or 05-10 Komi yellows?

If you go 11-14 I'd get c/c plates. 05-10 you have to get the GT500 strut mounts as well.

Edit: I ordered one strut from the sale because I already had another from eBay. This is the shipping status as of this morning (was supposed to be shipped to my house today):

The address is incomplete. This may delay delivery. We're attempting to update the address. / The address has been corrected. The delivery has been rescheduled.

I wonder if this is also due to the poor shipping quality.

In the same boat as you! I'd love to have these for that price since I'm lowering my car next week and I've heard that the stock ones will go out so its best to just do everything at once.

I called today and the guys aware of this were not in due to the storm. They told me to call back tomorrow. Hopefully there's no issue at that point...
That is correct! We got slammed with a foot of snow and Ice yesterday and my personal county (Philadelphia) went into a state of emergency!

To everyone sending me messages, I appreciate it and I will get you all taken care of! I did just want to mention that it might be a little longer than normal as I am still back-tracking from yesterday.

I thank all of you for your patience and I will make sure anyone looking to get the shocks and struts, will get hooked up with the best price I can provide!

Hope this helps!

-Will
