i am thinking to buy a CJ intake kit or long tube headers, if the headers will be better option for me what is the best size 1-3-4 or 1-7-8 ?

Note: i don't go to drag or dig only rolling from 20,40,60 mph up to 160 mph.
my car is 2013 5.0 auto.
i have only JLT intake , JBA x pipe off road and Mike tune.

Unless you're going to do cams, a converter, and are willing to have your redline set at 7800+ the CJ Intake is not for you.

What type of track do you do roll racing up to 160mph?

Street racing talk will get you banned fast around here. I suggest you do not proceed to talk about said subject any further.

Because the only time you read about it is when a dumbass makes the news. Street racing has been going on since the second automobile rolled out of the factory. It's always been around and always will be. You can do it stupidly or safely. Either way that's each individuals opinion and it's a free country. Ppl can talk about whatever they want. Welcome to the constitution people. Read it.
That being said - OP for roll racing wherever u do it maybe look into the boss intake and long tubes. I personally run 1&3/4. I'd say 1&7/8 is too big for a 302 ci engine. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

People can't talk about it here where they agreed to the rules when signing up

Then someone shouldn't ask. Don't ask don't tell. He asked a tech question. Just tired of the cry baby bull**** anytime anyone mentions a street race on this forum, it's annoying. And I don't even do it ( Street racing). It's just the fact of the matter. OK rant done. Carry on.

Tell that to the cops. I use to do it, then I realized how stupid and pointless it is. If your going to do it, take it to the track, or do what the "Street Outlaws" do and pay the cops to close a road for a few runs.

Yeah I'll speed and floor it from stops, but racing on the street in an uncontrolled environmental (not closed roads) is stupid and idiotic.

I used to years and years ago. We did it safely though. Nothing but a field on each side, nobody ahead of the start line... Hell one of the ones that participated was an off duty officer. Granted our faster cars back then we're 11-13 second cars but none the less it was done on a wide flat road in the middle of nowhere. Now this incident that has been on the news with that coyote vs that what looked like a gtr... Complete amateur stupidity. Was a disaster waiting to happen. Personally I think some of these tracks ought open up the gates on Fri-sat night. No clock. Charge 20 a car to get in. They'd be making money and helping keep racing safe. Will never happen I'm sure though.

For you I think the 1 3/4 size primaries will work well. It will be more important to pick a good quality header.

Agreed^^

I initially bought BBK ceramics 1-3/4 and ended up returning and going with SW. Not due to the 1-7/8 primaries but the fact that the SW were so much higher in quality. I picked up 17 additional rwhp over the BBK but lost 5 rwtq. All in all however, the SW were night and day in quality material.
